~* Who Am I? *~

Some of you may recognize me through my art, some of you may not. For those who don't, allow me to introduce myself a bit to you. I am Liccy, I also go by the nickname "Lizmun" in some places. I am an old hag with nothing better to do so I synchronize pretty lines together to trick your mind into seeing images. xd

I've been drawing all my life, yet I've only taken 2 academic-leveled Art classes. (mostly Art 101 and Drawing 101)... but that was within past 3 years or so. stare

I was mostly known for my Webcomics "Self Insert", "Writer's Block", "Bwee-kee" and "b***h- Slapped". Then I got lazy, and Keenspace deleted the site and well... that was that.
The comic can still be found in Deviantart and the links' are there if you want to read it. 3nodding

I mostly work with pencils. My tools of the trade are Mechanical Pencils 0.5 - 0.9, a graphite blender (just think a sharpened lollipop stick) and a click eraser. I find printer paper to be the best paper around (plus it's cheap! xd ). Lately I've been trying my hand with the tablet, but I'm so old-fashioned that it doesn't even compare, so I just do it for kicks and pseudo-practice.

I have no fashion sense and poor color coordination, so I'm still weary of doing colored pieces, but that doesn't mean I haven't done them before. I just think they look like utter crap.

I love to draw fanart, heck it seems to be my specialty, but I will do original art provided there is a good description of the character.

My policy for art is that you don't pay until you're completely satisfied with the drawing. I view my art as something that represents who I am. When it comes to commissioned art, I want to put my best product forward. Others will be seeing this art, and since my self-esteem is low enough as it is, I don't want people to think even less of me. sweatdrop

~* Why am I doing an Auction? *~

I'll be honest with you, I psudo-seriously thought about quitting, but I'm too attached to Gaia. Gaia has helped me through my highs and my lows in my life. Sad as it may be, it gave me a reason to look forward to the end of the day and just relax, have fun... regain a bit of youthful playfulness in a serious-adult world. Gaia has become my drug of choice...and I could care less.

Nowadays, I'm rarely online. I have a job that keeps me stressed 8am-5pm Mon-fri. (Though I love it, I can do without the paperwork.) I did an art Auction before. (Those who still remember it can see some similarities in the posts... mostly because I C&P'ed). My last auction was a total failure (My highest bidder got permabanned after I finished my task for them.

I'm not one to give up, but I do procrastinate and thus that is why, a year and a half later from my first auction, I return with "Liccy's Aukshun pt 2"!

"Penciled and then colored?" what the hell?

What I mean by this, is that I will draw you a picture, first in pencil; nicely shaded and cleaned up relatively nicely. I'll scan that and put that on hold. Then I'll digitally ink and color that same drawing, so you'll be getting two for the price of one!

heart Gaia Avatars, anime/manga characters or original characters provided they have a good character description and references to what you want them to look like.
heart Yaoi, Yuri, Het... you name it, I'll do it... as long as it's pg-13. If you want something a bit more risque, I can do so, but you must host in your own server. ^_^
heart Up to two people per drawing!

wahmbulance Mecha or anything linear and/or non-organic. I didn't do well in geometry and I can't even use a ruler to draw a straight line!
wahmbulance Backgrounds. I have no depth perception and see above. I can draw a colored background scheme, but nothing definite, sorry.
wahmbulance Real life drawings. I tried taking a Life drawing class, but my teacher kept laughing at all my drawings, saying no matter what I do, they still manage to look toony.

Since this will be the last auction I'll ever do, and the last major commission, I'm going to put out my best product forward. That means I'm going to color it, take alot of time with it and make sure it's as the best to my abilities as I can make it. I prefer Pure, but I'll take some donation or uncommon items, but that all depends. ^_^

Every so often I'll draw an OC sketch of someone... perhaps a top bumper or someone who's taken up a conversation with me for a while, or for someone who's avie I thought was pretty nifty.

Seriously though, I've been neglecting this thread due to work, life, and whot-not... so I propose a bumping contest. The twist is this time I'll award the top 5, rather than the top 3! Le-gasp!

arrow Top bumper will recieve a headshot. Who knows.. maybe it'll even be colored.
arrow Second place will recieve a sealed! Woot!
arrow Third place will win a sprite (Yes, I seem to have too much of them! They keep clogging up the vents.)
