The characters from THE SEA IS CALLING, THE SEA IS CALLING 2 and THE PIRATE PUB now embark on a whole new adventure in a whole new thread! (It's exciting!)

So...here's what happened:

Fenris appears again, this time in his own body. He raids the pub and kidnaps Raine and Hisui, taking them to his realm in the ancient city of Urbsde Ruina (latin for "city of destruction" wink . There he wipes the minds of both and changes them so that Raine believes herself to be his wife, the child she carries to be his, and Hisui is his councelor. He rules the city, its residents being men and women who have sinned, but not died. They are mortal and alive, but no longer welcome anywhere else. Barbarians and murderers.
Locke, Valena, Red, and everyone else (I'm being lazy, so if you want your name here, please PM me) were left behind the in the bar. They quickly teamed together and took hold of a ship, beginning their quest for Urbsde Ruina and their lost friends.

The smell of rotting flesh hung heavy upon the morning air and Fenris inhaled deeply. It was the scent of his kingdom, the scent of home, and it was comforting as few things in this world could be... Glancing back towards the bed and the pale figure within, one of those few things, he laughed. It had been such a glorious victory, taking her and her friend from the pub! But he did not have time to enjoy her for long, this morning least of all, and he passed the bower by, pulling a resplendent black robe from his closet to clothe himself in.

Raine stirred in the covers she was wrapped in. Opening her eyes, she groaned and stretched. Running her fingers through tangled hair, she blinked and sat up.

"In bed, Love." Fenris pulled on his boots and stood, throwing wide the doors to the wardrobe nearby, "And you really should be getting up, Dearest, we haven't long until we must preside over our subjects... Please, hurry, you must get dressed quickly."

Raine placed a hand on her forehead as "memories" came back to her. Of course, she knew where she was. In her bed...the bed she shared with her husband...Fenris. The hand moved to her stomach...Fenris' child.
She smiled faintly. "Of course." Donning the robe beside the bed, she walked to Fenris and kissed his cheek. "Good morning."

He smiled but did not return the kiss, instead flouncing past her to the balcony once more. He stood, hands tightly gripping the railing, as he looked out upon the city, "Beautiful, isn't it?" Indeed, from the same stand point, several hundred years ago, it would have been beautiful. Now, however, with it's fallen monoliths and desolate buildings, it seemed more akin to a ruin than to the grand cities elsewhere.

Valena could be found on the lower level of the ships innards, she had stowed away on the ship where the rest of the patrons now reside. She, along with the others, was in search for her sister Raine, and Morgan the sister of an old “close” friend. She was sure she hadn’t needed to stow away, for her sister’s lover knew of her and she was sure he would have been pleased to have her on board. But Valena preferred to stay in the shadows, mostly because she did not know who had all joined the rescue, and there were some who probably would rather her not be there.

Raveness sat in the ship's galley looking at it with mixed emotions. She seemed jumpy but like she belonged on the ship. It took her little time to adjust to the rocking once again. She paced the galley with almost an impatient step.

She moved beside him and frowned. Somehow, the beauty he saw in the ruins were not appearing to her eyes. Still, she thought it best to please her husband. "Yes...beautiful." Raine murmured.

He nodded and spun himself to face her, planting a gentle kiss on her offered hand. "Yes, I do believe you are right... But, pray you, hurry, we shouldn't keep our subjects long in waiting..." With that he glided from the room, leaving Raine to find herself an outfit from the myriad inside of the wardrobe.

Raine dressed quickly in a dark blue gown with silver lining and flowing sleeves. Braiding her hair from the sides of her head, she tied the rest of her locks into a ponytail and went downstairs to meet Fenris. Spinning for him, she giggled. "How do I look?"
