Wheezing Phantom

Just as the White Rose was about to set sail, a mysterious figure whom calls himself Maelstrom, the dragon lord, destroyed the ship, as well as sending Raine, Hisui, and Locke far apart. It has been 2 years since the horror, and the crew finds each other searching for a new treasure, the eleven talents. Each talent (or power holding stone) has its own ability.
A talent must be sealed into the owners skin by spell. The only place that has the written spell is the Gaurdian's Tome, a prophetic book held by Elemental Gaurdians, who are located in Dystopia Castle.

Here is a list of the talents and their owners:

Water talent
Wind talent
Ice talent -held by Hisui
Fire- held by Aki
earth
Shadow- held by Hikage
Light- held by Hikari
Lightning
Psych- held by Nanashi
necromanic -held by Locke
alchemic- hled by Kukoyo

When a talent is found, the owner must say so.

Please forgive me for not saying this earlier, miss Raine.
Raine holds dante's armor, an incredibly powerful suit. At their last raid together, Locke gave it to his beloved Miss Raine.(though hisui knows not of its power...im sorry.)

As we all know now, the talents take some effect on the owner. A sort of thing you must give up.

Water talent -has an internal chain connecting them to the first person they see and will loose power if not within 150 miles of this person.

Wind talent -dies at young age

Ice talent - cannot feel emotion (exept sadness, hatred, and envy..ect.)
Fire -seen as traitor

earth -cannot swim

Shadow -your soul is cursed to be immortal, though can be killed.

Light - same as Shadow, as being its opposite, having to be the same.

Lightning -causes destruction every where they go.

Psych- has nightmares everynight

necromanic -becomes pale and frail looking (like a skeleton.)

alchemic -must give one body part (stolen from FMA =P)

Locke had faced many trials and tribulations on his way here, to the resting place of the Necromantic Talent. Periodically, he had found the bones of those who had searched before him, and, with the scent of what had killed them, he had been able to avoid the traps. Now he stood before a large black alter, with a strange looking stone resting on the dais. With half a second of thought, he grabbed it and ducked, expecting something really bad to happen. "Giiiive iiiit baaack," a rasping voice said, quickly revealing itself as a skeleton. "Noooooo," Locke mauked and, smashing it, and it's seventeen henchmen, into dust became the most pleasure he'd had in two years, ever since... No, he couldn't allow himself to think about it, it was simply to horrible.
* On another continent in an uncharted area* A magnificent black dragon was sunning itsself next to a cool lake. "Hey Lloyd!" A wolf demon shouted. "We're gonna be late if you don't hurry up!". A platinum haired warrior got up from his desked and put the spell book back on the shelf and spoke, "Calm down, Roy, Its not like we cant catch up to them if they get too far off. After all, its not like you cant find her, especially with that nose of yours." Roy laughed." Ha, you're right but still, it be nice to stay by her side, right?" Lloyd was laughing now. " You stupid wolf demon, you're married to her. Its not gonna kill you if you're seperated from her for a few more minutes. Honestly, you're such an idiot." Lloyd turned back to the bookshelf. " Besides I need too get......Roy?" Everything was pitch black and all Lloyd could hear was a familiar maniacal laughter.....

Lloyd awoke with a scream...." Just a dream....just a dream." He said. And with that, the black dragon opened his wings and took to the skies.
Raine had made her home in the small town of Hushley. It was by the ocean, which she still loved with all her heart. She now stood on her balcony, staring out on the horizon. Her fingers were delicatly outlining the paw mark on her arm. She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply when a windy breeze brought the smell of salty waters to her. Her scars from the tragic occurance two years ago had been magic'd away by a healer in the town. Raine's hair had grown longer, and her green eyes held more of a sadness then they had before.
The people in the town still wondered why she had not married, being still so young. She had been with them for only a short time, so they did not notice her lack of aging. If she stayed too long, they would. Then came the questioning and whispers, and finally someone would figure out what she was.
A Dhampir. Raine was a half-vampire. Well, actually, with Locke's blood in her, she didn't know what she was anymore. It bothered her now, but it hadn't when they had been together. It hadn't mattered to him what she was, so long as she was herself. Locke had made her stronger...and happy.
Raine walked back inside, into the darkness of her room. She closed the doors to the balcony and drew the heavy black curtains. She stood there, in the darkness...trying to forget.

It had been two months ago that the Necro guardian had bound the talent into Locke's flesh, and he was just now coming close to the corpse he want-nay, NEEDED to find. Odd, though, that she would choose a small town like this, it just didn't seem to be her "thing"...
((OOC: Go about yer daily business Raine, I'll come into town soon enough.))
Raine dressed in her white dress. It was a near replica to the one she had worn on and off while on the White Rose. She had made it herself. Locke had always liked her white dress.
She now stood barefoot on the beach, feet in the water. She could feel the mist on her face, the salt stinging her skin. The waves came and went.
'I miss thee, my ocean.' she thought.

"Did ya hear?" one passing elderly man asked another, "There's some new guy in town, carryin' a big-a** sword and dressed in black. Folk say there ain't no touchin' that gu-" but then they were out of earshot, even for a Dhampir.
A dark shape in the clouds, Lloyd's black dragon form flew freely about. I'll kill them all, he thought. Its all their fault, the reason why that little girl is dead. I'll hunt them down and make each own suffer. Except...Hisui. Out of all of those pirates, she's the only own I hold no grudge against. I wonder hows she's doing?.....
Raine heard the people talking, but did not turn to look at them. Her heart fluttered at what they were saying about the man in town. Her mind flew to Locke. She missed him so much. Her eyes scanned the horizon, and she watched a passing boat.
She wasn't happy in the life she was living. Perhaps she should join a crew...but not a fishing one. Maybe she could...Riane shook her head. She didn't know what the hell she was talking about. If she went back to the ocean, Lloyd would find her. She didn't want to trapped within his powers again. No...not after last time.

A loud howl, like that of a wolf, sounded over town. And then, for Raine, at least, all hell broke loose. Several things happened at once. Several skeletons, skeletons she recognized from the dungeons of the White Rose, stood up from the shallows and walked past her. At the same time, the pawmark began to burn, seemingly pulling her in the direction of the skeletons. That was good because her legs, no longer under her control, were following them.

<center>out on a small one village island, a young lady sat atop of an old rundown apartment. She smiled as she watched small children run about in the streets, playing with a dog. Four children sat beside her, two boys and two girls. The girl with blonde hair and golden brown looked at her teacher with quiestion. "Madam Hisui?" she asked, pulling at the lady's flowing garms. "Why did our parents go?" The lady smiled sweetly at this girl, whom was named Kohaku. the others , Shuichiro, Koryu, and Misao, also looked at her. "They didnt go. They are always with you... I have already taught you that. No one can leave you forever if you remember them and still love them." Koryu hopped to his feet. "Then why did you leave your other friends?" The lady looked at him, her smile fading into a nuetral pose, yet her eyes remained the same. "I remember the stories my father told me," the boy said, looking straight into her eyes. "After the dragon devided the crew, you didnt even look for them. You dont care." Shuichiro growled at him and punched him. Hisui looked at Koryu and created some ice to put on his sore cheek. "I do care...that is why I left." she looked into the sun. "I would burden them. Ever more now than ever... As I have told you, Kukoyo is gaining full potetial and has set out on sea to find the talents...then me." The four children hung onto their beloved teacher. Misao hugged her and said, "We wont let him..." she looked up at her sensei. "...never ever." Hisui smiled and held the children. "But, I under stand that when the time comes, I must leave once more. Shuichiro will gaurd you all." The eldest boy nodded and stood over The two girls like he was a warrior.
Raine clutched the burning mark on her arm. Her mind was panicing. She tried to fight the power contolling her, but couldn't. It was a strength beyond her.
'What the hell is going on?' she wondered.

Far above them, on pinnacle rock, stood a figure, tall and muscular, and cloaked in a heavy black cape and cowl. It was clear that it was that man who was controlling Raine's actions.

Hisui had returned to Tsumobi island, where she had discovered that only the adults of her kind were gone. Kohaku, the daughter of her first student who was also named Kohaku (weird huh?), told Hisui about what had happened. Hijime and Sanjo had killed all adults, just to get their blood which is used to make delicious and rare wine. Now only 27 children and one young adult were left of their race. Hisui found the four children of her last four students, who were all named after their parent of chosen blood. She then began to teach them in the way of elemental spirit channeling. Being the only adult left on the island, Hisui had to be sort of a mother to the children. Today she had counted Shuichiro the only one old enough to be a gaurdian of the others. That way, if she ever had to leave, Shuichiro would take her place and see that their race thrives to live. Hisui now sat on the roof alone, thinking about the friends she missed so much. "Even Maelstrom...I know hes not all bad." she said to herself laughing at the memory of her idea of hiding him as a pet, those two long years ago.

Raine spotted the man, and glared at him. She couldn't make out his face, but she knew she wanted to kill him. What was he playing at? What did he want?
