In His Memory

As we all know, just a few days ago on Monday, September 4th, Steve Irwin, better known as 'The Crocodile Hunter,' was killed when a normally friendly stingray pierced his chest. Back on board the diving boat, he was unable to be revived, and died before an emergency helicopter could make it there. This thread is not only in his honor, but in honor of his family; His wife Terri, and his two children, Bindi Sue, age 8, and Robert, age 3.
Show Your Support

So I bet you're wondering, how can we show that we care? Well, just like a while back with the Daffodile Movement (for which I take no credit) we can show our support by wearing items. Which ones? I'll show you.

The Bug Catching Net-
Useful for catching critters, and used fairly often on 'The Crocodile Hunter' TV show. Well, maybe not for bugs, but you get what I mean.

Gwee the Dragon-
Okay, so this one is fairly expensive. But it represents a crocodile. You heard me correctly, a flying crocodile. For those who aren't seeing the symbolism, a crocodile with wings would represent Steve flying above us as an angel.
People Who Care

Want to show more support? Post the words 'rest in peace, or R.I.P,' and I will add you to the list of people who care.

For a family who lost one hell of a father and for a world who lost one hell of a Crocodile hunter...

R.I.P

Kuzaga
We didn't just lose a Crocidle Hunter. We lost an Expert, a Lover of all of Natures animals, A great guy, a Father.

And a Hero.

Sevikel
When I heard, I was in a Dairy Queen eating ice cream, and all I kept thinking was 'Ok, it's time for them to annouce that it's just a joke. He's still alive, I just know it.'
And then it hit me, and I just sat there with this feeling in my chest, as if I had lost a member of my family.

I think that's because he was family in a way. Though I never met him or even talked to him, he had invited us all into his life and showed us what he was all about.
I can't say that for many other people.

I know how you feel. When I was a kid I would watch his show too. I would eat watermelon with my Dad and I watched it. Ever since I watched his show I have always wanted to work with animals. Rest in peace Steve. We do truly miss you and respect what you did for us and showed us.
