Life Stages

Egg: Eggs are the first stage of any EmoKats life. The eggs happen from the combination of two EmoKat's essence. The eggs are fairly self sustained, so little to no interaction is need at this stage for the egg to hatch. Eggs take 1 week to hatch.

Baby: Babies are the next stage. Babies need the most interaction. After all, this is the stage in thier life where they gain a personality and you can persaude a baby to it's final stage of life. Babies, even though are the most important stage don't do much. They are like real babies, feeling basic emotions. Nothing more. Babies take 2-3 weeks to grow to adult hood.

Adult 1, Adult 2: The adult is the final stage of your EmoKat's life. Congragualtions! You have just become their soul that fills them and makes them come to life. You can play them straight, gay, bi, either way, you choose what they become. This is the stage that can love, and mate, and have children. But that doesn't mean they always will or always can. Roleplay this stage carefully please, since although roleplaying to mate is fun, if that is all you do, you may be missing out on the greater potential of your kat.

I have a question. No where in the rules or anywhere else does it state I can or can not do something, what do you suggest I do? PM Gothic Violet. She is the almighty owner and ruler of this shop xd She won't get mad, or upset or call you stupid, unless you are a close personal friend and that is something she does to you. To keep bannings from happening, and mean words from being exchanged, please, if it doesn't tell you step by step somewhere how to do something, ask, and Violet will happily explain how to do something, or if it is allowed. That also applies to colorists. We are a new shop, and if you unsure ask. No harm in enlarging ones knowledge.

How do I get one? Auction, Flatsale, or PM a colorist with an open commission spot.

What is a flatsale? A flatsale is when a colorist sells a group of kats for a simple, flat price.

What is a custom? A custom is when you purchase an EmoKat and want them a specific set of colors or character/cosplay. You basically get to have a little freedom to decide what your kat can look like. Pretty much everything that is not a flat sale or auction.

Are EmoKats Roleplay required? Yes... and no. No pet is really roleplay requried anymore, nor will they be 'killed' if abandoned. However, the commissionable pets may de-evolve if they are left to long.

Can my EmoKat be homosexual or bisexual? If you want them to be.

Can homosexual EmoKats breed? Since to breed, all EmoKat's do is give off a shimmering peice of thier essence then yes. Since the essence doesn't come with a y or x chromasome to say they can't be combined. Xp

Can I ask around to see who would want to be mates with my kat? Yes. Just try not to annoy people with it.

Do you accept payment plans? A colorist might accept them, provided you take it seriously. If you are seen buying pets in other threads or purchasing EmoKats from other colorists when you OWE the previous colorist gold, you could find yourself banned. Take payment plans seriously or don't take them at all.

Can I have a free EmoKat? I can't afford one. Occasionally free EmoKats are made and given out. But don't count on landing one this way as it is pretty rare.

So and So bought their 120th EmoKat. It's not fair, they are hogging! Hey now, just because someone has a lot of EmoKats, it doesn't mean they can't buy more.

Do you take pet trades? My colorists would need asked individually. I don't mind if they do the occasional pet trade as long as it's not abused.

Can we co-own pets? Yes, but if you fight over it, that will irk me on massive levels. Co-own with someone you know you can get along with.

What is a partial ownership/co-ownership? Partial ownerships allow you to roleplay EmoKats. It means you do not have any real legal ownerships to the pet so cannot find it a mate, cannot have it fall in love and most importantly, you cannot breed the pet. The only thing you can do is literally roleplay as the pet. Sorry, but some privledges should stay only with the true owner.

EmoKats don't die natural deaths. They only die when the soul is ripped from thier bodies, ie; you get banned from my shop. Remember when you buy an EmoKat you become the soul of them that brings them to life, and when you get banned for disobeying the rules, your poor EmoKats die. I personally don't want to kill off any EmoKats so it's with a heavy heart that I have to lie these Kat's within this graveyards fence.
