I like to have a personal policy, something to show the customer what it is that they can expect of me, and what I, in turn, expect of them. So, here's the personal policy contract:

Personal Policy Contract

I, Altik_0, promise to keep my art as cheap as possible, and to make sure to do my best quality work on each project I recieve. I promise that every work ordered will be done as quickly as possible, and that, unless real life intervenes, the projects from this art shop will be my top priority. I promise that I will allow every client the right to argue that my art has been flawed and that if any flaw is found, I will repair it as soon as it is reported. I promise to sponsor every thread that wants to be affiliated here with no charge or hassle.

In return, I request the following:

-All people who come to this thread can feel free to post, as long as it is within the rules and guildlines.
-Every customer MUST send a trade for the proper amount to me before I give the final drafts of their artwork, in case of scamming me out of hard work.
-No one may use artwork done by me that is not a freebie. The only exception to this is if a friend allows you to do so.
-Order forms must be filled out COMPLETELY. If something is left off, I promise to ask what you would like filled in there. However, the art will not be done until I know all the information.

Neither Modern Creations nor Altik_0 (myself) are liable for anything put into artwork. To prevent myself and my company from unfair moderation-intervention, I will not do anything inapropriate along the lines of:

Liability Policy

-Nudity. Underwear is fine, but no clothing is not.
-Excessive swearing. We're not here to write insults, you can do that yourself.
-Flaming of other users. I will not WHATSOEVER tollerate anti-anyone in an artwork. If you want to flame, add it in yourself.
-Links to any non-ToS sites. If you request a banner that links to anything that is against Gaian ToS (pornography, hacker sites, etc.), then I will NOT work on your banner.

Here is some art I've done for myself. The RPG character art would be essentially when I take a pic you give me other then a Gaia Online avatar or Dream Avatar and did art on. I call it RPG art, since I figured that's the most common use of this art. They're more expensive, but there is more detail, more careful scaling in the body features, etc. They look nicer, and aren't bound by the gaia avatar requirements.

And I also do 'Party Art', where a group of avatars/RPG arts are done together in a big mural so-to-speak, then I list the names of the party members or some other name desired. Price is determined for individual avatars. In other words, if you give me three avatars to do, it could cost 1.2k from three 400g priced avis, or two 300g priced and one 500g priced, etc. I will say what cost what when I give it to you so you can split the bill between people if desired.

Banners are pretty useful, so I suppose lots of people will be interested in this. As you can see in the below picture, I've got a pretty varied style, and I can make a banner fit for any budget. If you want a cheap banner, I can make it look nice, but simple and easy to make. If you've got some more money (which is about 50-150 more), I can put some more detail into it and attract some serious attention.

Now I'm doing something I call "CosArt", which is basically a character from somewhere (Say Mario or Link or Mr. Spock) and I convert them into my art for you. They are often about the same cost as RPC art, and you can use 'em to decorate themed profiles. If you'd like, I can also fit them into a bust version which looks nicer in an avatar form (for boards other than Gaia) for no extra charge.

Another new idea I recently devised is a 'Custom Emoticon Art' which is basically a set of so many emoticons that you want with whatever theme you want. In other words, the emotes could be your avatar's head, ninjas, pirates, vampires, Links, Zeldas, Ganodorfs... the possibilities are endless! Right now all the emotes that I've got done are these Aliens, but I'm working on some for my friends that I'll display later. Check the Freebies section for these!

NEW! I've decided, because of the Christmas season, and having done a few before out of requirement/want, to start selling E-Cards! You can fully customize it, just tell me what you want on it, send me any pics you'd like to include, an overall theme, the holiday you're celebrating, and who to put into the To: and From: slots. Overall, these are some of the more difficult works for me, so they're about 1k-1.5k, but they really do look nice, I promise.

± Usually about half an hour - an hour. But sometimes it gets longer based on how cluttered an avi is, how hard a particular item is to draw, etc. But unless I'm having a really busy/crappy day, I should get done within one day of recieving the message.

¿ Okay, so this is coming from an older customer, but I see you have new adverts you put into art [Yeah, that's something I do], so can I request something in particular?
± When you order your art, I'll ask which element you'd like included. The choices are: Fire (red), Plant, nature, etc. (green), Lightning (yellow), Water (blue), Darkness (black), Light (white), Air (grey-ish), Rock (brown), or one of my seasonal alternates that I'll put on or off at certain times.

¿ Seasonal alternates... so like for Valentines Day you'll have love?
± Yeah.

¿ So, can I get one of those after the holiday is over?
± Yes, but it will cost 100g extra. I don't want to make the seasonal things permanent.

¿ Can I get the old advert?
± 250g extra, and sure. Again, this art shop is for advancements in my art, so I'd prefer to do the new stuff over the old. Ergo, the fee.

¿ Will there ever be new permanent, and therefore free, elements?
± Yes. I'll get a few every once in a while that I'll keep for all time and eternity.
