Welcome to my petition thread, as you can see it�s for a bank account. It would be really easy to access because it�s on the side of your screen, right under your Avatar picture. You could deposit and withdraw gold, as needed very easily, just put the amount of gold you want deposit or withdraw and then enter a four digit pin code and hit enter. This gives you more safety if someone hacks into your account.

Also it gives you another plus, you can collect interest on what you put into the back. The interest rates would go something like this:

0 Interest rate of 4%
15k Rate would be 5%
30k rate goes to 5.5%
75k rate goes to 6%
100k rate goes to 6.5%
150k rate moves to 7%
200k rate moves to 9%
500k rate moves to 10%
1 Million rate moves to 15% and stays.

So if you had 10,581 you would have an interest rate of 4% per year. To figure this out you have to take 10,581 x 4%, which would be so round it to divide by and you would collect 1 gold everyday until you get more gold in your account.

As you can see in time you can be earning gold once a day just by login in, as long as you keeping gold in your account.

A Note About Interest: I know there are some that think oh good now I don't have to do anything but sign on once a day, well let me burst your bubble. If the Gaian creaters could figure out how to make it where you can earn your gold as long as your bank total goes up everyday that would remove the problem with people getting on just to claim the interest.

Option A

You can keep putting gold into your account until it reaches the amount to make it jump to the higher % Rate, but this means that when you empty it the interest rate will go back to 4%.

Option B

Have different accounts that you can move up to that hold the different Interest Rate. Such as:

1. Student Account Interest 4% amount to start 0 gold.
2. Working Class Account Interest 5% amount to start 15k
3. Guild Owner Account Interest 5.5% amount to start 30k
4. Business Account Interest 6% amount to start 75k
5. Lower Class Account 6.5% amount to start 100k
6. Middle Lower Class Account 7% amount to start150k
7.Middle Class Account 9% amount to start 200k
8.Upper Middle Class Account 10% Amount to start500k
9. Gambino Rich Account 15% amount to start 1 Million

However that also means you will have to keep gold in you account to keep each account statues. The amount would be half of what it takes to start the account.

Either option that is chosen can be set up so that if you don't post or add gold to the account the Interest Rate will go down or people will stop getting their daily interest, this will make it where people that just want to sit their and let collect their interest will no be able to.

Note to Mods: If you are worried about this inflating the Market Place Prices then do something about the inflation that is happening now, because your losing a lot of old Gaian's to the inflation more then your losing them any other way. I'm afraid if you don't start cracking down on Inflation as is or start enforcing the rule that were set about it then your going to lose more people. It is also possible to set an estimated value on each item in which people can't go over. Also help bring the cost down of the things priced in the millions, and hundred thousand, because that is how the rich are keeping themselves in the gold and making new Gaian’s poor.

Now with all this put in front of you, your probably thing why? Why make bank accounts on Gaia where you can earn interest?

Well the answer is simply this, with an account you have to put your pin number in to put you gold in to you bank and to take it out. If your pin number as stated before would be a 4 digit code that is different from your Gaia account password. So if someone manages to hack into your account it will be harder for him or her to get to your gold.

As for the earning interest on what you put into your account think of it more as a small donation everyday you log on. Depending on the account and the amount you have into it can help your quest move forward a bit faster.

110 people say they like this idea, and most of them want the interest rate to happen as well, I know of another place you can look where people say a price limit should be added to times. That would keep inflation at bay.
