They didn't stop their tinkering with technology, and accidently created a time machine. It sucked Alex in, where an Elemental Spirit was waitinig for him. Sol, the Element of Time, granted him the ability to manipulate and use Time Magic, nearly bending it to his will. Alex was given his uniform of brown clothing, white cloak, and a staff, told to use them wisely. He was thrown from the Between, and cast into the next realm where he was needed.
There he came into contact with several people, and in order to complete his mission to help them, he had to trade an Angel for her wings. In return she wanted his life. Knowing that he would live, thanks to Sol's gift, he agreed, and gained her as a Soul-Partner. Because he was of a different gender, she became male, and took on Alex's last name of Darkfire. Giving up her wings and body let him help the person he was with.
Alex and Darkfire continued on, helping people, and going from one plane to the next, not exactly sure where they would end up.It is hard to say the exact personalities of Alex and Darkfire, except that Darkfire is a Jerk, and Alex tends to be just random in an adult sort of way. He is very much a hero.

Jin-The Elven village localed on the outskirts of the Forest. Jin is consiterd one of the most talorble citys ever. They will acceped any and all tell you become a threat. It is said that the guards let a Troll remain in the city for two weeks before they were force to kill it because it begain eating people. The guilds here are many including Archers, Rangers and Druids. Along with a Dancer and Bard guild
Claim Port-To the south of The Forest of Elders lyes Claim Port city of theifs and Merchens. This city is the economic center point of the world. Guilds here are the Ninja, Thief and Merchain guilds.
Chal Quin-City of the resining sun. Chal Quin is a temple city located to the east of the Forest of the Elders this manifecent structure holds the only to none weapon melee guild out there, Tae kwon and Monks. It is also said to have a Ninja branch with in its walls
