I'm Karu, and welcome to my quest thread. I figure since there's so much expensive stuff I want, I might as well make a thread to track my progress, meet a few new people, and maybe even get a few donations. I don't really expect donations, I just see this whole quest thread thing as being slightly reminiscent of my old minishop, where me and my friends hung out and had heaps of fun. =D So feel free to stick around, bump, and help me through the long process that is getting all my items. heart

I'm currently questing for Winged Anklets for my outfit, and when I complete that quest, I'll go ahead and start going through the rest of my expensive list of items. xD

Updates are posted by my time. I live in Australia, and therefore I'm approximately nineteen hours ahead of Gaia time. So currently, March 20 for me is March 19 for Gaia in most instances. M'kay? M'kay.

May 29/ Exams. Today, Tomorrow and Thursday. English, Chem, Maths Methods, German, Psych. Biology is next week. Only practise exams really. Nothing counts for us until the end of next year.

Mum's out of hospital. The procedure went well, and all the cancer was removed. Yip. Nothing else really to tell you. Three weeks til school holidays, which is a relief. Expect me on a lot more during then. Iluall.

May 5/ I've got heaps of school at the moment, mid-year exams are creeping up, and to make things worse, on Wednesday my mum's colonoscopy test results came back positive for bowel cancer. You can count on not seeing me around much until the holidays, but I'll make my best effort to come on and chat with you all every now and then. <3 Art is postponed. Maths test results on Monday, for those of you interested - my teacher did her 'I'm very disappointed in how you all went' speech, so expect bad results. x__x

April 25/ If you've donated and requested art as a result, I probably won't be able to do any more art until 5-6 weeks, when it's school holidays. This year's way to important not to hand some of my stuff in because I was drawing for people. Teachers don't think that's a legitimate excuse either, for some strange reason. ;D

March 27/ I go back to school as of tomorrow. That means lots more homework, and lots less time. I won't be on all day every day, and sometimes I won't even be on at all, except maybe to bump the thread once or twice. BUT STILL, ILU ALL AND I HOPE YOU STILL STICK AROUND. -lipquiver-

March 26/ I decided to take a leap and sell the ZONY Discman I'd been holding onto for a while. I never use it, so I figured it was time to sell. x] I'll probably sell some of the other items I never use at some point, as well.

March 23/ Septic Tank decided to postpone getting the Demonic Pendant to do some other things first, so I'm back to questing for my own stuff. <3 I'm hoping someone donates soon, cause I really feel like making pictures. x__o

March 21/ Poe donated the Goti Clips as WELL. <3 <3 Much love and glomping going Poe's way. That means seven items to go now. Seven very expensive items. xD I'll start with the anklets and the horns, since they're they two things I want the most at the moment, and then work on everything else from there. Gonna start doing random art for bumpers and donators. <3

March 20 / Started up my quest thread to track my progress. Still getting everything up and running. <3 Everything's up, including some reserved spots in case I decide I need more stuff here. I'll be questing for a while by the looks of things, so I'm gonna make this thread awesome fun.

Studded Leather Collar was donated (MUCHLOVE) , and I bought the Were Tail for 14k. Two down. =D

I shouldn't have to put a short list of rules up here, but I know from experience with minishops that rules make sure everyone's happy. -entercheesysmilehere-

[o] Don't beg for items or gold I have. @__@ I'm not questing so I can give other people items. But by the same token, I often do random gold donations to other people.

[o] Please don't advertise in my thread. It's rude. If you PM me, I'll gladly put up a link to your charity/shop/quest thread/whatever.

[o] Try to bump creatively. Chatting with other people in the thread is ten times better than saying 'bump' fifty times.

[o] No flaming peoples' opinions. People should be able to say what they want about a certain topic and not have it laughed at or whatnot.

[o] Have fun. That's... not a rule. But yeah. xD

Here is where I shamelessly bribe you into giving me donations. =)

[o] Hokay. Getting a little more serious here. That's right, serious bribes. I'm gonna start doing chibi art for donators. Donating a certain amount will get you a certain type of art, and so on.

Headshot - 1st & 2nd examples: 1,ooo+ will get you a single, coloured chibi headshot.
Sketchy 1/2- 3rd example: 7,ooo+ will get you a single 1/2 body sketched chibi.

Yes. I did change them. @__@ Halfbodies make me unhappy.

Multiple donations will allow you to request multiple pictures. That means you guys can get all your outfits and hairstyles done. ;D

Also, you must ask for a chibi avi, otherwise I'll just assume you're a nice donator. ;D

Please try not to specify poses or anything. @__@ I like being left to my creative devices. heart

+ if your avi is too cluttered, I'll leave certain items out. 4laugh

Bumpers will also be receiving random, free art.

Note that I'll only start drawing your avi art once I've received the donation. I don't want to draw it, only to have the trade sitting there forever.

Also, note that I'm very, VERY uncreative with poses. =3

The first person that reaches each 100 pages (ie. the first person to reach page 100, the first person to reach page 200, etc.) will each receive 500g.

[Avi Contest]

You can enter the Avi Contest for 200g per Avi. Make sure you send a trade saying 'Avi Contest' so I don't think it's a donation. ;D When the slots are full, voting will commence.
