Two Auctions & A Raffle

Hello! This is a Grand Opening event for the new shop, Dinotopia! Don't know what Dinotopia is? Click here to check it out!

The Grand Opening event will go for two weeks. For the first week, there will be a cosplay Raptor Red auction, and a Smilodon raffle! The second week will have a mystery custom auction!

Also, during the first week, I will be randomly asking Dinotopia trivia questions for free raffle tickets! Feel free to check Google, www.dinotopia.com, the books themselves, or the main shop for the answers.

PS - No dinosaurs are ever RP required. Just encouraged! :3

Custom Auction
Snipe Guard started on page 70

And the mystery auction is... a custom auction! There are only two limitations: no cosplays, and you can't request a Utahraptor. You can have your dinosaur start at any stage you want (egg, baby, teen, or adult).

The species you can pick from are as follows: Brachiosaurus, Gallimimus, Stegosaurus, Stygimoloch, Triceratops, Smilodon, Parasurolophus, Skybax (Quetzocoatlus), or Spinosaurus.

And for coloring examples, here are the dinosaurs out so far:

Raptor Red Baby Stage

Auction Rules:
01. You are allowed to co-own for auctioned dinosaurs.
02. 100% of the payment is expected within 24 hours of the auction's end.
03. Please don't be a sore loser if you don't win. There will be other chances!
04. There will be a twelve hour snipe guard at the end of the auction. If a new bid is placed within the last five minutes of the auction, the snipe guard will begin.
05. Only bid with what you have!
06. Do not discuss your funds outside of PMs. This will discourage others from bidding.
07. Donation Letters and Items are accepted at Mid Teh Guide.
08. Sealed Letters are valued at 5k each.

Cosplay Auction
OVER.

So, what is the cosplay auction of!? You will be bidding on a Raptor Red cosplay! Yes, that means this is a rare dinosaur being offered here. Each species of rare dinosaurs are only offered once every two months, at least.

Raptor Red is a character from a great book titled, what else, Raptor Red, written by Robert T. Bakker. I highly recommend this book; it's one of my favorites!

Up for raffle is this uncommon dinosaur! You will be able to pick both the name and gender for this tiger colored Smilodon (aka saber-tooth tiger).

Raffle Rules:

Oh, Raptor Red is amazing. biggrin It really is my favorite book. Sadly, my first edition hardback of the book was eaten by my dogs when they were just puppies. sad
