General -
1) Follow the Gaia ToS.
2) Don't spam the thread by mass bumping. One or two is okay.
3) Listen to the staff, please. You don't want to end up on the Blacklist, do you?
4) Be nice to one another, and refrain from arguing in the thread. Take it to PM's instead if a fight really break out.
5) No Trolling / general meanness / harrassment. If any of you are caught in the thread or PMing us to harrass us, trolling, or being mean, you will be banned from the thread and your child will be taken away. NO refunds will be given. You will also be Blacklisted, and in serious cases, be reported to a mod.
6) Do not steal the artists' art works, ever. Steal and you face the whole thread's population, their friends and a mod. Plus a space in the Blascklist. Do you really want that?
7) Roleplaying is NOT required to own a child or appointment. However, special auctions or flatsales MAY have conditions that you will need to follow, to include roleplaying.
8 )If you apply for an auction or flatsale or any other event that you win, whether it be God or Goddess or appointment, be aware that for the 'pet' to grow in stage, RP is required.
9) Don't pm artists of the shop unless you have an issue with your art you wish to deal with in private. Other PMs are only to be sent to the mule account.
10) You must read the entire front page because we do not want anyone pleading for appointments, or breaking a rule. If you any issues with the shop, PM the mule and not the artists. If you have issues with the art of YOUR appointment, PM the artist.
11) If you post you are leaving the shop, you will be added to the ignore list. We do not need attention whores who post they are leaving, only to have them return a week later.
Roleplaying -
1) Most importantly, do not godmod. Even if you own a God or Goddess, you are not allowed to kill or permenantly hurt a child.
2) Please refrain from giving your child a powerful pet, such as a mystical creature or large felines and canines, unless it was given to you as a gift from a God or Goddess.
3) Unless your child had found out his/her power(s) through roleplaying, do not create a power for your child.
4) You can train your own child in mundane things, such as knife-fighting or cooking. Only the Gods and Goddesses have the power to train a child in the magical/mental arts, and bless/curse a child.
5) Your Pregnant character cannot be more than half anything other then human. That means you can't be a full-blooded demon, etc.
6) If you are going on haitus, please notify your RP partner if your child is involved in a relationship. In such cases, you may grant your partner to roleplay your child in your absence, but may not have any control of anything that affects the child such as powers, growth, injuries, etc.
7) No anime cosplay character pregnancies. This is because of copyright laws and it is generally wrong to do so. To get more of what this means, you cannot have Sephiroth breed with a goddess or your avatar / OC. You are allowed OCs (original characters) and your avatar only.
8 ) There is to be no cybering. We already had an incendent with this in the past. If you want to do things above gaia TOS go do it over AIM or any other Instant Messager system. You will be automatically banned for life from the shop and guild if you are caught cybering in the thread or guild, aka Blacklisted. You must obey the pg-13 setting of Gaia-online, and its TOS.
9) Every once in awhile, your child will feel the need to get down and dirty. Instead of breaking the PG13 rule, post something along the lines of "Blahblah laid her down on the bed. The next morning blahblah..." instead of going into details. In regards to sex, we're looking for "The Brady Bunch", not "Cinemax at late night".
Flatsale -
1) Please do not complain if you did not win an appointment or a child. Respect the judges' decision. Besides, there will be other chances.
2) Please pay the flatsale price within 24 hours. If you fail to do so, then your win will be forfeited and given to someone else.
3) If the entries are to be posted in the flatsale thread itself, refrain from flaming the works of others.
4) When you buy an appointment, you are entitled to all stages up to teen, provided you roleplay enough to warrant growings. If, for some whatever reason, you feel you do not want your child anymore, you are entitled to a refund, minus a portion according to how many stages were already done; your pet will then be rehomed. If you are blacklisted, you will recieve no refund and your pet will be rehomed.
Auctions -

Growing Up
Stage 1: Pregnancy
Gods and Goddesses have a way to make either sex, male or female, pregnant. So if you're a male, don't be alarmed if you see your stomach growing bigger with each passing day. That means that you have a child growing inside of you, and the god-parent can either be male or female.
Likewise for females, a Goddess can hook you up and make you pregnant, as well as a God.
Stage 2: Baby
Congrats! Your child is born! Your little one might or might not resemble you or the child's god-parent, but he/she is your child. Take good care of that baby, and he/she will grow up fine. Remember they need their milk for healthy bones and soon-to-grow teeth!
Stage 3: Child
These children grow up so fast! They can now walk properly, and some can even speak in full sentences! Most children at this stage are hyper, noisy and sometimes a little annoying. They might even pick up the horrible 'puppy eyes' technique to get their way.
Be firm yet kind and gentle at the same time to discipline them, and win them over to your side.
Also, your child can now take lessons with the Gods and Goddesses.
Stage 4: Pre-Teen
Pre-teens are a little more calm, although some of them will start talking about freedom. Worse, they'll ask you weird questions like, "Where do babies come from?" Some of them will experience mood swings, and crushes on the opposite sex.
Stage 5: Teenagers / Young Adults
This is the real test of a parent. Mood swings, the growing age gap, boyfriends and girlfriends, staying up late and flirting. Just don't pin them down too hard, they need some breathing space too!
Some children, at this stage, has completed their training with the Gods and Goddesses who had agreed to teach them as a child.
Stage 6: Adults
Love, marriage and a baby carriage. They're all grown up, and ready to face the world! Of cause, they should have gone through their training from young, and have enough knowledge about whatever was taught to them.
They can also get married, have children, and try to settle down as a normal family.

The Gods and Goddesses have been split into three sides. The Moon, Sun and Neutral. Each planet has a God and a Goddess, both eternally bonded to each other.
(I'll just say this real quick because so many people have asked...We DO NOT just give away gods! They are found at auctions or special events only!!! )

Most children will follow their planetary traits, although there will be a few odd ones.(We tend to frown on people straying too far from the guidelines though.) However, this is just a general guideline. Nobody, except for the artists know for sure what your child will look like.

The Lists
Blacklist
You are banned from the shop, and if you have a God, Goddess, or child here, they will be taken away. This is very serious, as you will not be able to post here or to enter anything the shop is holding. The blacklist will not be publicly posted, but if you cannot post in the thread, it's more than likely you are on this list for one reason or another.
Greylist
You will stay here for a certain period of time, before your name is removed. You must have broke a rule of the shop, and thus if you have a God, Goddess, or child here, they will be either banned from RP or taken away. During your Greylisted time, you are allowed to post, but not RP.
Whitelist
Saving the best for the last, we have the people that made this thread what it is today. Luff them, and glomp them when you see them. It's an order!
