Up for auction will be a serum to become a subject at the Island of Doctor Moreau!

Auction Starts: Thursday March 2, 6PM Central - OPEN NOW!
Auction Ends: Tuesday March 7, 2006 at 8PM Central
Snipe Guard: 10 minutes after the last bid
Starting Bid: 10k
Min. Increments: 500g
Autobuy: 8 million in any combination of gold/items

SPECIAL! - For this auction, Sabin will offer a special Combination serum as a standard option - to mimic the appearance of a MYTHICAL CREATURE! See below for details.

The Island of Doctor Moreau is a relatively new multi-stage illustrated RP in the Breedables/Changing Pets forum. Each serum changes the human character that was injected with it into an anthropomorphic animal over the course of 5 injections. Each "stage" comes with an illustration and a certificate.

As this is an auction, it is NOT RP REQUIRED, however it is encouraged and speeds the changes. (And of course, we have a really wonderful RP Community! Check out the guild!)

No whining, scare tactics, or pity parties: be civil

Unless you are bidding or actually adding to someone's bid, there should be no discussions about funding or lack thereof (ie, no "I'll give you a ___ if you need it" - that is considered a scare tactic).

Proxy bidding (having a friend bid in your place if you can't be online) is allowed, but payment is due in a reasonable amount of time. You are also responsible for finding your proxy, however.

Serum Information

This Auction by Sabin Duvert offers a SPECIAL opportunity not normally available:

A COMBINATION serum - as long as the combination animal mimics a MYTHICAL CREATURE is a Standard option of this auction. Ie, it does not need to reach a minimum value or be autobought to get this option.

If you win, and you want to take this option, discuss with Sabin what creature you would like.

KEEP IN MIND that your character is not being injected with actual dragon/unicorn/cerberus/harpy, etc DNA. Instead, Dr. Duvert is trying to create a mythical creature through combining different animals and/or stem-cell working to get features to grow in areas they normally do not (ie a narwhal tooth ("horn" wink on the forehead of an equine to make a unicorn horn.
Your character will not have any magical or supernatural abilities. Resemblance to a mythical creature will be superficial-only.

Some things will not be able to be reproduced - such as elemental bodies.

Sabin will have some leeway on specific appearance, but winner is permitted to discuss with him specifics.

In order to facilitate a mythical creature, other "serums" are allowed to be worked into it - such as tauric, plant, winged, etc etc etc - even nonmorphic if you want.

HOWEVER, if the mythical option is NOT chosen by the winner, only a standard anthropomorphic animal serum is allowed. You may not excercize the combination option to create a fursona-ish combination creature of your creation.
