Construction zone! Something went funky with the grammer...
Name: Oak
Gender: Male
Abilities:
Oak has the ability to change himself into his Treant form and has an uncanny ability to coax even the sickest and weakest plants to life and show a greater beauty than any other.
As well as the ability to commune with nature and animals, much like in his previous form before his death.
Race or Element: Treant
Information on their previous life:
Oak watched over one of the most grand and beautiful forest known to all from the northern most edge where the forest met the mountain, to the southern tip near the ocean, it was his passion and his life.
Oak was also known for his great and tender caretaking of the forest, coaxing even the sickest and weakest plants to grow to its fullest potential.
Reaching out with an out-stretched arm, touching the very plants of the forest, bringing out there inner beauty.
Words couldn't describe the beauty that befell upon the forest; you would have taken witness yourself to believe (which only a few have).
Until that dreadful day when man came to the land, sailing on boats made of wood and metal, seeking out new land to claim as there own, since there's was becoming more and more populated by the minute.
The men saw the forest as a tedious disturbance, covering the land the men claimed as now there own, they sought out for its destruction!
The day had come; the day of the forest would perish. The men laid fire to the forest in all directions, seeing it as a 'game.' To watch and hear the animals shriek and cry in pain and agony. They laughed, the ruthless beasts laughed, there fetish had been fed.
The animals tried to escape, but they couldn't fire roared in all directions. Trapping everyone in the trees, and killing those that claimed the trees as there home even the tree that cared so much for the land.
"My children and friends," Oak the treant called out. "this day, the day of our reckoning, I will get revenge against those who hurt us" A tear fell from the bark covered eye. "Your death will not go in vain" The last of his voice screamed with agony and pain as the tree burned and met its end.
It was unfair, unfair to the animals, and unfair to the treant! The great Oak still had a long and wonderful life to live, plus the fact that all his hard work was lost was just appalling.
But as some say. To gain you must lose something, but when you lose something you gain something!
General likes and dislikes:
Likes: Quiet, sunlight, water, animals, soft things, and plants.
Dislikes: Fire and noise.
Hobbies: Oak has a large collection of various leafs in various colors.
Personality from baby to adult:
Baby:
Oak is a very quiet baby at this stage just as a sapling is. Like the wind pushing on a sapling he is easily moved by influence.
Not much is to be told as he is only a babe; more will unfold in time as he grows.
Toddler:
Oak has grown more mature, probably to mature of his age, and has been known to be making his own decisions for himself.
A little bitter than what he once was although the toddler still shows his caring side to all those who return the favor, although Oak is the biggest coward of all.
For some odd reason he has a fear of others and doesn't socialize that well, I'm not sure as to why, but could it have something to do with unresolved feelings?
Oak has been known to cause a little trouble here and there with his very curious nature. Oak enjoys being out in the wilderness now, maybe it's time to inform the boy of his past?
Kid:
Even more mature, oak has found the art of playing with others and playing those hateful tricks that we have all be known to come to love. After all is said and done Oak acts more like the responsible one, rather than playing with others, Oak would rather be helping and taking care of others.
The bitterness of his attitude seems to have vanished, but could that still remain deep within the Kid? Sometimes this tree boy could seem like a push over at most times, but I would keep an eye out, only Oak knows his limits.
Still a big coward of others, Oak would rather be spending time outside, then being around any one else.
More and more questions of his past have been brought up, but why would a kid worry about his past? Is it that important?
Teen:
Like any other teen you would meet with a short temper, Oak has meet up with many difficult decisions.
Frustrated at times Oak still knows where his new roots take place, here and now with Kyo (his guardian), and the others that have been awakened from there wands.
Still a coward, Oak has some 'things' that need to be resolved, like his fear of humans.
A word from the wise: It would be a wise decision to befriend this friendly giant, as his caring attitude, Oak would stick up for any of his friends, as they are all that he has in life.
Adult:
Oak has grown so much, more mature than he has ever been. A lot more quiet and secluded than he has ever been in his life, Oak has been tending to his garden more than socializing with others, who knows why?
It seems like Oak has built up some courage and found some guts, not taking any crap from any one. This rambunctious tree is crazy, one step in the wrong place in his garden, I would keep an eye out! I'm going to take a big flying guess and say some of his past problems and fears have been resolved.
A caring and warm aura emitted from the gentle giant, nothing could stand in the way between those he cared for most, not even the searing flames that could burn or even kill the man of bark.
Hair and eye colors:
Hair:
Oaks hair grew in various shades of green, orange, red and yellows, the colors of the seasons that came to the forest. The Soothing fall coaxing those to begin there rest, the haunting winter causing all those to enter into there eternal sleep, the sweet smell of morning dew during the spring awakening all from there sleep, and the summer heat that beat down upon the forest.
Eyes:
His eyes glimmered brown remaining the color of his roots that once took ground in the earthen terrain, as well slightly tiny green swirls.
General physical description From Baby-Adult:
Baby:
Oak wasn't the average size baby, with a small nose that occupied the center of his face and a little bit longer than a normal baby would be, If I could say so my self. Brown eyes with tiny green swirls.
Oak had a full head of hair, odd maybe but not for most trees it isn't. Pieces of strips of bark cover his arms and partially his face along with green lines snaking themselves across his fair tan skin almost tattoo like.
Tiny stubs of a twig grew from the back of his elbows, ankles, and the top of his head almost antler like but barely noticeable. Leaf buds grew from the baby's shoulder, who knew what they would bud into.
Toddler:
Oak has grown to be the tallest toddler of the group so far with his square figure. His brown with green swirl eyes was partially covered by his multi-colored hair that has grown to his shoulders.
The young boy sported a brown tank top, brown shorts and wooden sandals. The buds that have grown on the toddler?s shoulders have now budded into leaves that covered his shoulders and stretched down across the boy?s back and covered part of his upper arm, almost cloak like the leafs met up with his brown shorts.
The twigs that grew from his elbows, ankles, and the top of his head grew even longer now more noticeable than the stub that they once were, as well as starting to show signs of foliage growth.
The green lines that snaked themselves down Oak?s body faded away, almost unseen but still remained.
Green moss starts growing on the toddler?s fair-tan body in various places and grows with him as he gets older.
Kid:
Leafs begin to sprout from his body in random places. Oak?s hair hasn?t grown any more than what it had been and still fell to his broad shoulders.
Oak?s body now took on more of a muscle mass as strength built up in his body now not even the faintest of wind could stir him to move.
The twigs on the back of his elbows, ankles and the top of his head have grown to a good branch like size and now with full grown foliage.
The Leafs that stretched across the boys shoulder and down his back haven?t grown any more than what they have and most likely won?t as Oak ages; however, some kind of growth has been noticed in the origin of the growth, what could it be?
Root like tendrils extended from the kid?s ankles almost seeming like they wanted to replant the boy into the ground, with age these would seemed to grow, but into what is still a mystery.
The green lines that snaked themselves down Oak?s body have faded away even more.
Such a surprise is that mushrooms have began to home on the kid's body, not many but they where still present and carried over to his other stages of growth, but grew more in numbers.
Teen:
Oaks face began to take on a more dominate shape as green moss grows from his chin, as if he had a goatee.
The twigs on the back of his elbows, ankles, and the top of his head have even more foliage, and more branches are starting to extend off from the base branches.
Instead of growing down ward toward the earth, the roots have seemed to actually grown up Oak?s legs and wrapped themselves around his calves and legs.
The mushrooms that homed on his body began to grow more in size.
The two leafs that grew from the boys shoulders have only grown with his size change, but nothing different other than size.
Adult:
Oak?s body covered mostly in moss and bark his face was even more dominate and tree like than before, his green moss like goatee now grew into a small beard lining his strong jaw line.
The twigs on the back of his elbows, ankles and the top of his head have even more foliage than before. Multiple branches and sticks have grown from the base branch and entwine them selves forming a small tree on the top of his head.
More mushrooms grew in number on the adult tree?s body; some grew in patches of three while some grew alone.
The leaf?s that stretched down the tree?s body from his shoulders have grown with the man?s size.
Distinctive Marks: Green lines almost completely faded away snaked them selves down his arms and across his face.
Bark and moss covers part of Oaks body along with moss.
(This isn?t really a distinctive mark, but if the artist could maybe put some type of design that could show this, maybe around the image maybe?)
The sent of spice loomed in the air intoxicating those who dared walked by this strange creature.
