Greetings to all the artists out there!

I am looking for talented people to take on the task of drawing some of my Original Characters. You don't have to draw all of them. Just one will be fine. If you're interested in possibly drawing some of my other characters (and I have MANY), or perhaps one of the fellows mentioned with the OCs here, please PM me. (Luffs fanart whee )

Just give me your price range, as well as some examples of your artwork. Or, if you'd like an art trade, please let me know. But I will ask one small favor...please wait a bit, if my gold amount is below 10k. I'm really uncomfortable with having a low gold amount when questing, so please limit your pure gold trades for when I have 10k or more.

About Me

I'm a college student in America who loves all sorts of fandom genres. I love reading, writing, drawing, role-playing, and cosplay. I've been on Gaia since November 2003, and am pretty much a full-time quester on Gaia. If I'm not questing for items, I'm questing for art. I have a mule account, Daemira Flameheart, who I use to store my gold for item questing. I'm very active with her as well as my main account, because I also use Daemira to RP with.

My favorite fandom genre is Fantasy, but I also LOVE sci-fi and anime. I create OCs because I love to imagine myself in a certain universe. All of my OCs are based on myself, or an aspect of myself. So I'm very attached to all of them. They're almost like bits of my soul that I give form and life to. Yes, they all have quasi-Mary Sue aspects, but I make absolutely sure that these qualities are kept to a minimum, and have a good reason. I don't allow my OCs to be godmods, or perfect beings; because the most facinating aspects of a character is their flaws. Flaws give chracter and life to a character. So all of my OCs have very distinctive flaws, as well as attributes. I love getting art from people, because to me art is the most beautiful expression of a person's inner being. And for someone to use this medium to create an image of a piece of my soul is like the most wonderful gift someone could give. So any and all art that I receive is loved very much.

TERMS

ninja I reserve the right to accept or reject your services based on what I think of your artwork quality and prices. If I think your work is worth your price, I WILL request from you. Plain pencil sketches are not worth 10k+ to me, so don't offer such.

ninja Do not offer Chibis. As cute as they are, they're not what I'm looking for.

ninja I do not prefer headshots.

ninja No art auctions. They're always WAAAAY more than what I have to spend.

ninja I do not make any RL requests. I've been forgotten about way too many times to even consider doing this again.

ninja Do not bump with a shop in your sig and expect me to go there. Unless you post that you want to be comissioned, I'm not going to visit your store. Period.

ninja Please keep in mind the amount of gold I have listed and the items I have up for trade. They're there for a reason. Don't assume that I'm being stingy. Esp. the gold. That is, in fact, all the gold I have. So if you don't see an item of equal value to the art you're offering, and I don't have enough gold, then just save us both the trouble and just don't make an offer.

ninja I reserve the right to post these pictures (with proper artist credit) on my personal website. If you do not wish me to do this, let me know when you offer your art.

DO NOT try to scam me. In the past, some of the people who were offering art to me were asking more than the price listed in their art shops. It was like they thought that they could do that because they offered their services to me, instead of my finding their shop on my own. I DON'T SEE ALL OF THE SHOPS IN GAIA. Don't think that a little effort on your part to get a comission gives you the right to jack up your prices. If this happens and I catch you, I will either demand the art shop price, or not comission you at all. Don't assume that I'm stupid and that you can use me. That's a pretty low down and mean thing to do. mad And also don't assume that I don't know the worth of the items I've got for trade. I do. Trust me, I know what ALL OF THEM are worth.

Blaze is an anthromorphic cat. As you can see, I prefer her in the less animalistic anthro style. However, if you'd like to draw her in full anthro form, I would not be against that at all. biggrin

Blaze has:
long pink hair
aqua colored cat-pupil eyes
a scar running down her right eye
white fur (or pale skin, should you prefer drawing a human version)
five ear piercings: two on each lobe, and one in the upper part of her left ear

Clothing varies. Put her in whatever outfit you want!

Personality:
Blaze is very old (centuries), so she is very wise. She's a bit withdrawn, but she is fiercely protective of the ones she loves. She's very sarcastic and has a tendency to get angry rather easily. But she also is very kind and loving and will goof off with her friends. In battle, she is wild and feral. Her favorite food is any kind of fish; she is very fond of sushi and tuna fish sandwitches.

Torreina is a Shade (dark sorceress). She's based on the Eragon books/movie (but mostly movie).

Torreina has:
Very pale skin with swirled scars on her face
Crimson hair, lower-back length
Long black robes (with a slit that goes up the side and to the waist on either side of her skirt) with a burgundy leather bodice
Black sleeves under robes come to points on the back of her hands
Long, pointed black fingernails
Burgundy hooded cloak that attaches at the wrists and drapes down
Black trousers under robes, and burgundy knee-high boots
Clothing ref: [x] [x] [x]
bright blue eyes (if drawn good), or red eyes (if drawn evil)
magical abilities, primarily flame and shadow

Personality:
There are two facets to Torreina's personality. As an evil Shade, she is haughty and overconfident, and looks down upon those whom she deems weaker than she. She holds herself upright and regally, displaying her strength in her physicality. She is vain and enjoys flaunting her looks in sultry poses.

Redeemed, she takes back her original personality before having become a Shade. She is very soft-spoken and humble, but she still retains that power from her evil days. If someone she loves is threatened, she will almost revert back to the Shade in order to protect them. Torreina loves children, and her greatest desire in the world is to be a mother. However she had lost her husband and two children in the past (this is what first led her to become a Shade), so the prospect of losing another family is horrifying to her.

Daemira is an elf. She's based off of Lord of the Rings. She is also a wizard.

Daemira has waist-length straight black hair which is tied back in a typical elven style. She wears a silver circlet that looks like this [x] [x], with red jewels.

She has very pale skin, with almost a grey-ish tint because of the color of her blood, which is black. She has red/dark red lips.

Her eyes are almond-shaped and grey, with cat-like slitted pupils.
She has five piercings in which she wears silver hoops; two in each earlobe, and one in her upper left ear.

Daemira is ludicrously tall. 7'0", to be exact.

She wears black robes which cut off above the knees; [example] (but with the bell sleeves starting at the elbow, and having the red trim; also with the long black undersleeves beneath the bell sleeves) She wears black tight pants and lace-up black boots. (any design would work. 3nodding )

She wields a black staff with a red orb; [staff design]

She doesn't HAVE to have the two belts...(one is a plain belt, the other holds her sword [which I don't have a pic scanned of], which she has her right had on..)

Her personality is pretty much the strong, silent type. She's wise, but also has her limitations. In certain situations, she will become emotional and irrational, but is typically cool and collected. She is very kind to the ones close to her, but can be cold and cruel to those whom she doesn't like. She's mostly a loner, and doesn't take up with others that often. She is disliked among the other elves, due to her parentage. In all technicality, she is a Dark Elf. Her magic specialities are Fire and Earth, as well as Healing.

If some of you are up to a challange, Daemira rides a massive black horse with red eyes. However when this horse runs, plumes of flame burst from underneath her hooves, causing a trail of flame to burn on the ground behind her. The horse's name is, of course, Pyro. ^_^

I would love to have someone draw a (loving) pic of Daemira with Grima Wormtongue. I will pay extra for that.

Kaguya is based off of Naruto. She is a Jounin-level ninja, and her family name is Yuurei.

Kaguya has:
albinism. Her skin is extremely pale
long Sephiroth-style white hair
reddish-pink eyes
wears all white (even her headband and sandals are white), including white pants (her original clothing design was a lot like Nekokage)
fights with iron fans

Personality:
Kaguya is smart, and a natural leader. She isn't afraid to be happy and cheerful, but she also knows when it's time to be serious. Which is most of the time to her. She is very respectful to others, and is humble. Her favorite food is gluetenous rice filled with red bean paste.

Nekokage is based off of Inu Yasha. She is a half cat demon.

Nekokage has:
very long white hair with black at the tips
yellow cat slitted eyes
pointed ears and claws on her hands
wears an all white half kimono w/white leggings and tabi socks/sandals
fights with wakasashi

Personality:
Nekokage is a good-hearted person, but she is driven by vengence. Her emotions sometimes drive her to do wreckless things, but she always manages to somehow get out alive. When her goal is in sight, she is unstopable, and quite often foolish. But normally, she is friendly, but distant. But she loves unconditionally, and is a fiercely loyal friend and companion.

This is Orochiko, and she is also based off of Naruto. She is of the same clan as Orochimaru, and was also(if it isn't obvious enough) named after Orochimaru by her father, who had been a good friend of his.

Orochiko has:
Long black hair that is tied back into a high ponytail.
Several strands of her hair flow down in front of her face, more on the left side than the right. She also has strands that hang down in front of her ears that fall just slightly below the strands in the front. (note ref. pic)
Her eyes, skin, and eye markings are the same as Orochimaru (minus the blood stains, of course), but she has slightly defined feminine lips that are shaded light purple. [In other words, eyes - olive colored; skin - white; eye markings - purple; lips - purple]
She ALWAYS wears a black choker. ALWAYS.

She wears two main outfits.
Outfit #1: Work Clothes

Her normal everyday outfit is a pair of bluejean overalls that cut off right below the knees with a navy blue babydoll t-shirt and the typical Naruto styled ninja sandals. She can also wear a rice hat with this outfit, since it is her work clothes. She grows flowers for a living, and sells them to the Konoha village flowershops. So flowers accompanying this outfit would be splendid.
Outfit #2: Ninja Attire (ref. pic)
Her ninja attire is a bit different than her work clothes. She wears the usual short-sleeved net undershirt with a (slightly short) black tanktop over it and her Jounin utility vest over that (worn open). She then wears a set of black/charcoal hakama with snake designs (optional) running along the bottoms and up the sides. Footwear is the typical ninja sandal. On her arms, she has a set of ANBU-like forearm protectors with plates that cover the back of her hands as well. Her main weapons are a scythe-and-chain as well as a hawk talon (not pictured)

Jutsus
Her basic abilities are very similar to Orochimaru's, so pictures of her with snakes are perfectly fine. Her specialities are medical-related jutsus.

As for poses...have fun! I enjoy anything that a willing artist will give me.

Personality:
Orochiko is very quiet and withdrawn, and doesn't talk to many people. She is very hesitant, and often times doesn't follow through with an idea. But she has an inner strength that she doesn't let many people see, and is a very good friend and gives good advice. Her outer appearance and the way she carries herself hides her almost unmatched fighting abilities, but she is very humble about these abilities and is willing to teach anyone who will listen. She is always more worried about others than herself, and has gotten severely hurt in the past trying to protect others. But when driven by purpose, she has been known to become cold and cruel in battle.

Sultara is a sorceress based off of Disney's Aladdin.

Sultara has:
Long black hair, that is tied into a high ponytail.
Brown eyes
tanned/Arabian skin

Sultara wears teal/turquois robes. The inner robe is lighter than the outer robe, and her sash is darker than both robes. The sleeves of her inner robe are translucent, and very light colored. She wears gold cuffs on her upper arms, which can be seen through the sleeves. She also wears a jeweled headband which is also cyan/turquoise, and the jewel is deep ocean blue. The same goes for the small jeweled charm that she wears on her forehead.
Her staff is multicolored; the rod of the staff is white, while the left sun half is gold, and the right moon half is silver. The large orb in the center is the same deep blue as the jewels she wears on her headband.

Personality:
Sultara is very humble. She values everything, and takes nothing for granted. She is very intelligent, and enjoys solving any kind of puzzle. Yet she is also very inquisitive. If there is something that she doesn't know, she'll stop at nothing to learn about it. She is also another character who loves unconditionally.
She was the apprentice to Jafar, five years before the events of Aladdin. During that time, she and her master fell in love, much to the disapproval of Nasira, Jafar's sister (who actually does exhist). To prevent her brother from making a "terrible" mistake, Nasira drugged him with a potion that caused him to completely forget Sultara. She then cursed Sultara by taking away her ability to see and speak, so that she would never be able to find her way back to Jafar again. Sultara regains her lost senses seven years later, with the help of Sadira (the last Witch of the Sand) and Genie.
While blind, she wears a scarf around her eyes.

I would like to draw one of your characters. I have a sample of some art I did for customer yesterday.

For a single person, full body, colored I charge about 6.5k
For a mid-waist-single-colored, I charge 4.5 to 5k
And for a head shot-single-colored I charge 3k
