I, DecayingThorn, am on a quest. No, not for items or cloathing, but for Pets. Yes, Pets. You see, I'm a long-time fan of Breedable/Changing Pets, and I've always wanted some of my own. But I have a problem: I am not very rich in the slightest! So, I've decided to create my own Quest Board. Here, I plan on creating a list of the Pets I'm currently longing for and the like.
Now, I plan on keeping a list of what certain pets I want with a price-guide to show how much each would cost. Not that I imagine any one would buy one FOR me, but still, so people get a good idea on how much I'm looking for (Trust me, these things get expensive!).

UPDATE!
Yes, another Update. I'm proud to say that I have finished the basic idea for my character. It'll be tweaked ever-constantly, but I hope to have some me-made art up soon ^_^

Name: Marshall Green
Age: 21
Occupation: Animator, free-lance artist, Movie Critic (Okay, thats just kind of a hobby...)
Etnicity: Caucasian
Height: 5' 8.5"
Weight: 147 lbs.
Proudly Hails From: San Diego. Which, surprisingly, does not mean "Whales v****a"
About: There are some people in this world that just perplex the average. Marshall is, with out a doubt, one of these people. He's, in a sense, a man with a childs mentality. Its not that he's immature, irresponsible, or stupid. Heavens, no! He's a very capable, compasionate, and smart young man. But unlike most people his age, Marshall never really out grew enjoying the things most people stop doing because its 'childish'. Building sand-castles, watching the clouds go by, watching Saturday Morning cartoons...In a sense, he's a big kid.
Marshall was born into a rather normal family. He had an older sister (Jessica, currently married to one Scott Wellows) and a mother and father (Sarah and Arnold Green). His mom, who went by the Pen Name "Marry Bells", was a childrens author and part-time painter. Needless to say, Marshall grew up in a very, VERY creative enviroment. His father was a Lawyer, and loved the contrast between his bleak office and the brightly painted home he spent the rest of his time with. He never got much time off work, but when he did he enjoyed nothing more than spending it with there family. Sure, there were some issues (Mostly involving Jessica) but over-all they were a very, very happy family.
Marshall's mom was a Conservative Jew, and even though she was raised Jewish and loved the religion, she never pushed any religion on her children. Marshall has only recently discovered this and has taken intrest in it. He has yet to decide if what (or even if) he wants to be any particular relgion. He figures he can believe in a higher power even if he doesn't have a particular relgion.
One thing he's always loved was drawing. In Highschool, he created Sno Cone the Penguin for an English Project. The simple and cute little critter eventually got his own Web Comic, which was later syndicated, and most recently was bought by The Cartoon Channel for animation. Now, when CC (which is partially owned by Feral Labs) bought the rights, they did some thing Marshall never wanted. They made Sno Cone...boring. They took away all the little quirks and interesting stories Marshall had worked so hard on to make him generic, like every other Cartoon on TV. Marshall never really had the courage to complain. The show aired and was a hit with most people, but all his previous fans despised it.
In a congratulatory package from CC, he received some soon-to-be-released Sno Cone merchandise, and a ticket to some sort of Tropical Resort.
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Brown, messy
Over-All Appearance: Marshall has a flat-out skrawny build, with little to no muscle-mass on him. Despite this, he doesn't look sickly, only skinny. While he's really not all that short, he does have a slight complex about his height, espically since he hangs around taller people more often.
His hair is wild and unruly, no matter how much Mousse is applied or how much he combs. Its never going to look very good, and he's grown to accept this. His eye brows are rather bushy, some thing he's a little sensitive about. His cloathing is nothing special: A long-sleeve white T-shirt under an orange hoody-vest, along with some cargo shorts and a pair of sandals. You will NOT get this man into Business-Casual Cloathing!
Oh, and his favorite possesion? A pair of sunglasses that he got one year as a birthday present. While he likes to wear them, he rarely takes them outside of their case.
Personal Quotes: "Yes. It is indeed true that Tim Burton is the reincarnation of Da Vinci." and "...The mere thought of drawing my characters in a porno makes me throw up on the inside..."

Dislikes: Clowns, Bullies, The color yellow, Brushing his teeth, Bitter foods, feeling short, the concept of canibalism, shoe-laces, dissapointing his fans, French Cusine, The concept of his characters in some thing dirty gonk
Turning Into: Emperor Penguin
The 100% Look:
Marshall has grown feathers all around his body. For the most part, they're black, but from the groin area up to his mid-chest, they're white. His face has changed so that it looks more bird-like, but he has kept the same eyes. The largest diffrence to his face is the beak. His fingers have fused together to form flippers, but they're must more bendable than normal flippers, so he can still function for the most part. His feet have turned into penguin claws, and his 5 toes have been replaced with 3 talons. Despite all of this, he has kept a rather human look and can still walk up right normally. This is pretty much exactly what I had in mind ^_^
The Big Changes:
-With the lost of his fingers, drawing has become a lot more difficult, but he manages...Some how!
-He can now swim a lot faster than a normal human and can hold his breath for an hour at most. He also grows allergic to salt-water, to discourage any escape plans.
-He loves warm tempratures and cold tempratures. Not much inbetween.
-His dislike of Canabalism becomes a full-fledged fear.
Why a penguin? Marshall is two things: Lucky and Social. Penguins survive by staying in packs and being social, and thats probably how Marshall is going to survive. Not to mention I'd imagine Moreau would LOVE the irony in a man becoming famous with a penguin and then BECOMING a penguin! :O
