Please be patient as I set up :3

KAOs started around... two years aproximately as a Builder shop. They sprouted from an accidental experiment to something that flourished wonderfully.

They are simple, genderless creatures, their sole purpose is to love and be loved.
Take care of them [Or their creator will come after you :3 ... She promises.]

"Okay, okay, I'm up, I'm up."

Hinabi lazily yawned, wiping her drool off on her sleeve while scatching at the marks on her face left by falling asleep on her keyboard. As she looked at her moniter she noticed something different...

There was egg.

"Okkaaaaay...." She scratched at her nose. Deciding to ignore it, she tried to open the program she wrote the previous night.

The egg popped up onto her screen once more.

"What the?" Hinabi glared at the egg...

Trying to open the program once more... It worked.

"Finally... now for a test drive."

She pressed ENTER with satisfaction, knowing NOTHING would go wrong.

*POPPOPPOPPOPPOPPOPPOP!!
Many more eggs appeared on her moniter one after another.

"Well, this isn't right..."

A pure accident, a small mistake in a game program... can lead to wonderful things. Especially cute ones <3.

HOW TO ORDER:
+ If it is a flatsale, you must fill out the appropriate application and wait for my approval. You may send trade, confirm, and finally--get your beloved KAO!
+ If it is an auction, there will be directions within the auction thread.
+ If it is an event, there will be directions posted up.

1. You must read the rules.

2. You MUST proceed with an open-mind. Any types of discrimination will result in an auto-bann from the J'ouvre community.

3. No god-mode if RPing, and certain no god-mode when it comes to managing this HQ and such. I am the creator and manager.

4. Just be nice. Mean people get no love, and certainly no KAO.

5. The rules can always be updated or changed.

7. I will not tolerate neglect to my creations. If any KAO J'ouvre develops a brand, and the brand is there for more than 3 weeks, the KAO will be stripped from you and will be put up for adoption (FREE ADOPTION) to those that DO want to care for one.

There are three stages total for the KAO:

1. J'EGG: At this stage, obviously the KAO is immobile. It starts to develop a distinct personality towards the end of this stage.

2. KOI: When hatched, the KAO decides on whether or not to come out of it's shell. It will take massive amounts of affection to lure it out.

3. KAO: This is the adult stage. Like any other loveable spawn, you must still pamper it with love. This is the stage where it may be accessorized to it's liking. They love to be spoiled.

Each advancment up to the next stage depends solely on the affection you give to your KAO. Neglect will cause your KAO to turn it's back on you and will digitally brand itself to show such neglect and lack of care.

Patterns: Each KAO will have a distinct simple-patterned theme. There is no KAO that will have the same pattern what-so-ever.

You can change the cert of your KAO! Color choices are as shown.

To get a cert change you must post within the thread ordering one, then send a trade titled:

cert change for (your KAO's name): (colour here)

It is possible to change your KAO's cert more than once, but for each change, it will still be the same price

All KAOs are genderless, so... how do they breed? (Mind out of the gutters, sickos.)

Since basically these KAOs developed from a flaw in a written computer game program, for two KAO to create a J'EGG together only requires a bit of their patterned data to combine together.

Each breeding will result in fraternal twins: similar patterns, but different.

There is one sliiight obstacle you must jump for: Breeding costs 50K

WHAT?! Are you crazy?! 50K for these small things?!
Yes, 50K. You will have to decide who gets which twin. These twin spawns will require a happy home and family.

To put it bluntly, no one-night-stands.
And of course... Kao J'ouvres MUST be in the KAO stage to breed.

You are always free to Roleplay with other fellow KAO J'ouvre parenters. Please keep in mind that not everyone might wish to do so, so there IS a possibiliy of disturbances and such.

Why not make a guild?
A guild will be formed only if this becomes a large enough KAO community :3

But then how do you "care" for the KAO if not by RPing?
