Rules and Guidelines
1.) Gaia's TOS and Rules and Quidelines apply here.
2.) The contest will end on July 15th. We extended the date alittle after realizing that summer deadlines are much different to deadlines made during the school year.
3.) Don't try to submit something that isn't your work. Come on. Especially when it has nothing to do with the contest. I'm just saying that since it happened before.
4.) As already said in the previous post, there is no limit in the entries you submit. You may submit as many entries as you wish in all the categories. Don't be shy. wink
5.) Nothing too suggestive. We're just friends! gonk xd
6.) Our outfits provided are just main bases. You may take out a few items in moderation. Feel free to. You're the artist. Just make sure it still looks like us. lol
7.) No watermarks. This is a watermark. Something covering the image so that it can't be stolen. We are keeping all the artwork we recieve. We would like to judge the actual image. Any images with watermarks of any sort will be ignored until the watermark is removed. Also, please don't advertise by smacking URLs onto the image. That's kind of rude. sweatdrop However, signatures are allowed. That's not a watermark.
8.) Please do NOT change your username during the time of the contest. If we cannot find you, we will potentially overlook you even if you had a chance of winning something. If you must change your username, contact us first.
9.) So that the entries don't discourage other users, we will not show any submissions on the first page unless we have a reason to. (Ref use and such.) If you truly want to see the artwork, just skim through the pages.
10.) Feel free to talk with people in the thread if any are around. Bumping is welcome, but why bump if there's others around? Unless...you're emoticon responding to each other. In that case, it's fine by me to an extent since I do that sometimes.

I'd prefer coloured pictures, full body or waist up. Backgrounds are NOT a must, but are apprectiated, though they have little to no bearing on the outcome of my decision.
Now, to let you know, I have a personal symbol I use here on Gaia, and is in a LOT of my art. They symbol was given to me by my good friend Okechi whee Now I'd like to see it incorporated into the pictures done for me somehow, though it is NOT a requirement to win and you will not be though less of if it's not there.
The Symbol is one Blue-Silver-White Angelic (feathery wing) on one side and one Upside down (or right side up, doesn't really matter) Blackish Demon (Bat-like) wing. then over top (Or in the middle or something) is a Silver Halo.
It can be seen here as an example:

This is my main uniform, I wear this outfit the most. The Swords are changable, they don't have to look exactly like this.

Height - 6'1"
Weight - Approx. 130lbs
Hair - Red (Garnet red, Blood red, whatever)
Eyes - Swirley Violet, meaning there are all hues of Purple, blue etc within his eyes in a swirley pattern

Note it doesn't have to look exactly like that, Please have your own take on him. The Glasses were also an addition from the artist, they aren't in Elric's Description and aren't really necessary. They're cool and all, but not necessary xd Remember, it's YOUR take on my OC.
Physical Description:
Elric is an ELF (POINTY EARS PEOPLE xd )
He uses a Fancy Scythe as a weapon, but can also use two handed Heavy blades. These (or this, whichever you prefer) are always attached to his back. There doesn't need to be anything actually ATTACHING it to his back it's just there. that is unless he's in a battle pose or something. Their Blades are a CRIMSON/GARNET/BLOOD RED CRYSTAL.
He wears two Six shooters on his theighs by small belts around them
He has an Ornate Red Trenchcoat with My symbol on the sleeve (My symbol's description is on this post at the beginning) And a Black shirt, or black armor underneath it. His pants are black as are his Boots, which are cut off just below the Knee. Silver buckles are on the boots.
Elric is light-hearted and laid back. He usually wears a half-smirk on his face and his eyes are mischevious.
He also Has a Squall (Final Fantasy VIII )Like Scar that runs from his Left Eyebrow to Below his right eye over his nose

Here's an avatar version of him I made awhile ago. If you notice, it show his Draconian and Phoenian form. I generally provided his "evil" form above, but since you see his "good" form with the Avatar Edit, you may draw that if you like. He good form uses lances and spears whereas his evil form uses the scythe. Also, his Phoenian form has long tailfeathers. It just wasn't turning out right when I was making the edit.
An addition is Gavin's guardian Phoenix. Since I've never drawn Blaze before, just keep in mind that he's huge, but can change his size. He can be as big as a horse...to maybe as large as a mountain. Depends on the situation. My girlfriend drew this.

Brief data: Kariudo Mizuno is a Japanese agent from Akita, Japan who works for New Jersey's Paranormal Institute. However, behind this disguise is a man who is actually much like Gavin. His real name is Jaiden Decardo and is Gavin's adopted older brother. He loathes Gavin with a passion for killing his twin sister, Jocelyn, refusing to believe that it wasn't his fault.

The tie's colour varies. It's your choice. Just take note that he's a agent, so his suit is black. Nothing colourful. To be more accurate with how I RP him, you can add an ear piece and shades/sun glasses.
Again, Meo has drawn this character as well. It gives a view that he wears shades. In truth, Kariudo actually never takes off his shades unless he's somewhere private. It's just that when I drew Kariudo long ago, I kind of was iffy about drawing his shades since I like to draw eyes.

I may as well make a little update.
Entries for DK and I are generally fine now. He still has more than me, but it's not a glaring amount anymore. However, the couples section is still kind of thin on entries.
When the contest ends, I may give random amounts of side prizes to people I think deserve something. We'll see. <3

I'm going to New York tomorrow. Hopefully I won't die there. I'm not feeling too well. I have three types of medication, though, so that's keeping me going...though the foaming in the mouth with the terrible taste that doesn't seem edible is driving me nuts. Bleh.
I'll be gone from March 8th to March 15th. Late 14th if we're fast on getting back. Take care of DK for me while I'm gone. xp

There is a high lack of balance in our entries for all categories. Example: Like there isn't enough to judge for couples, so the ones we virtually have get auto-wins.
When I return from my New York trip, we'll extend the deadline to mid-July if we still don't have enough entries. I'll be on my trip from March 8th to 14th.
**Cough** Draw me more entries. My birthday's on March 18th. **Cough** XD
June 2004 has now been added to the prize mix. Best entry overall gets it.

The site has changed alittle since I last used it for my other webcomic, which was kind of a flop. I've already drawn more for this new one. ^^;;

DK and I have come to the conclusion the school and other situations during this time of the year makes people busy. Therefore, unlike the contest that took place during the summer, this one has more months and has been extended to April 1st.

I'm not staying long... unfortunately I'm on a dialup internet right now. I just wanted to leave a note here for Raz if he shows up, if someone can tell him, I'd like him to log the pages I've had entries for, or save them for me or something so I know I have them, as well as the people's names.
I'm very sorry I cannot bump here much, as I am working, though I will keep watch on the weekends I go home.

I just would like to note that Silver Archangel doesn't frequent Gaia as much as he used to. He will only be around during the weekend or around that time since that is when he goes back home. This is why you see me more than him in the thread.
Be sure to remember to post all of your submissions within the thread. If you must, you may PM me(Razumi Yazura) any entries or questions. Don't try to PM Silver Archangel.
I may as well make a little update.
Entries for DK and I are generally fine now. He still has more than me, but it's not a glaring amount anymore. However, the couples section is still kind of thin on entries.
When the contest ends, I may give random amounts of side prizes to people I think deserve something. We'll see. <3

Deadline for the contest shall now be July 15th since we don't have enough entries for the gold we're forking over for this. There were no objections as well, so this choice is final. It gives people who are busy with school and such time to work on entries.
