FS Prompt
If you could go to any planet of Sorla, which would you go to. Why? What do you find there? (please refer to the basic planetary description before writing this.. because if you go completely against the planet desc I'll kick you =p)

If given the chance, I'd choose the 5th planet of Sorla called Gen'rika. While all the planets sound beautiful and interesting, the particular facet that grasped my interest in this one was evironment: mountains.

Mountains have always been a favorite place of mine. The shapes of mountains can be seen to be similar to that of the pyramids. The shape has often been used to symbolize the general life as being at the base and enlightenment the higher your rise. The shape has been used in many ideas and while that might have a slight bearing on my choice, the main reason why I chose this mountainous planet is due to the love of taking flight.

Though my mismatched wings are ethereal, I still can fly but it is more in the manner of gliding by using wings of mechanical bearing. The mountains are wonderful for they provide the heights that would give the highest altitude for long flights. However, I am bound to run into the Caers when traversing there. While it is said that they are the more peaceful of the two races on Gen'rika, there might still be a chance that they could see me a threat. If that should ever occur, I will make myself as non-lethal as I can for I have no wish to fight anyone while just visiting on this planet.

A long flight is probably the first thing I'll do once on Gen'rika, given that the Caers would give allowance onto their mountains. The flight would help me survey and explore the land from above, giving me a wonderful view of the terrain in addition to possibly seeing the Lusiad and the creatures that lived here.

The Lusiad I noted sound most like the Spartans of Gen'rika. Though I want to say hostile, perhaps the word of protective might be a better term for it seems that they are honed warriors of their home, the forest. While meeting this race had me excited and yet fearful at the same time due to their skill of illusion and evasion, I could not help being hopeful that they would be kind enough to let me see them train, perhaps to pick up pointers for myself. Maybe they'll let me train with them a little before making off on the my return trip home.
Since arriving on this planet, she was unsure of her knowledge of the land and the people of it. Though she had done her research prior to landing, there was always a difference between texual accounts versus real interaction with the actual races she learned from the past. Shading her eyes with an uplifted hand, she gazed ahead of her and searched the terrain of anything.

The left of her was filled with the sharp inclines of mountains while to her right was a lush forest. Putting down her knapsack as she closed up the small space vehicle and sent it back out to orbit the planet for now, out of harms way, she slipped the small disc-shaped remote into her pocket and strapped her pack to her back.

While she wished she had more time prior to coming to Gen'rika to master her transformation, it could not have been done because there was no way she was giving up this opportunity for an ability that she could return to later to master. Her ethereal wings--though once mismatched--had finally shifted into their permanent form.

Once, she had been equipped with one dragonic wing and another one feathered wing, but with the few practices during her travel here, they were both now the same--feather, but what appeared to be a thumb-like, scythe-shaped claw at the top. No matter, despite their seeming uselessness at the present, their presence comforted her and that would prevent her from losing her mind in frustration should something of that nature occur.

While both terrains were appealing to her, she needed to decide which of the two she would explore now.
