Welcome to the Beta Aquarium Geek Event, and the unveiling of our NEW Geek lines as well as a BRAND NEW SE! Don't know about the Beta Aquarium HQ and it's crazy regulars? Click the banner in the previous post to go to the shop!
This event will consist of several event types (flatsales, dice game, raffles, evolve slots), as well as a few other possible mini-events and games that will be revealed as we go along!
Events Planned Thus Far:
Raffle Flatsales: The entries for both sales will start Saturday, March 14 and both sales will take place in this thread.
Ides of March Dice Game: This Dice Game will start Sunday, March 15, as is fitting, and will take place in this thread.
Free Raffle: The Free Raffle will start Saturday, March 14 and will take place in this thread.
Guest Raffle: The Guest Raffle will start [date] and will take place in this thread.
Evolve Slots: Special evolve slots will be available starting Sunday, March 15 and will be found in the Staff Work Threads in the Guild.
Escapee Dice Game: This Dice Game started in the wee hours of Sunday, March 29 and takes place in this thread.

General Rules
- DO NOT steal the art.
- DO NOT flood the thread with bumps. Occasional bumps are fine, but floods are not.
- DO NOT edit your posts if they pertain to a mini-event/game where editing is prohibited. Make a new one please.
- DO NOT attempt to use mules to bypass prize limits on certain events.
- DO NOT beg for prizes, betas, items, gold, etc.
- DO NOT attempt to discourage people from participating in events. This includes guilt tripping, discussing funds or lack of funds, whining, harassment, flaming, etc.
- DO NOT use botted gold. Period. If you are found using botted gold, you will be blacklisted from the shop.
- Co-owning prize betas is allowed, but please keep the discussions in PMs and/or IMs.
- DO save your adult/evolved certs once they are delivered. We will not host them indefinitely and do eventually delete them off our computers/photobuckets.
- DO play nice and respect each other.
- Shop Staff (Lt. Gnatty-Bug, ArynLight, Kishara, PandaManda, ShtrDrNGry, and Junyi) word is law. OBEY THEM.
- Shop rules apply to the event and vice versa.
- Please READ ALL of the event front page. If it's "OMG TOO LONG," do it in small doses.
- Breaking or repeatedly pushing the rules will result in you being banned from this event and greylisted in the shop. Serious offenses could lead to blacklisting.
- All times currently listed are in Central Standard Time. Feel free to use the clock labeled "Central" here to keep track.
Prize Notes
- The main purpose of this event is to unveil our NEW Geek Clownfish lines! The Geeks are Common SEs and are designed to replace the Geeks originally released by Nova.
- One prize per event/game per person, unless otherwise stated or prizes exceed participants.
- All precolored prizes will be certed in the form as shown, either as adults or evolves, unless otherwise stated.
- Evolve Tickets from previous events may be redeemed in the Special Evolve slots.
- Geek Evolve Slot Special lasts only until the end of the event, and applies only to Geek Evolves.

"Beware the Ides of March" great Cesar was told, but to no avail! His fate was sealed! Perhaps the Ides will be more fortunate for you?
The prizes for this game are not Geeks, nor SEs, but they are custom colored clownfish with some lovely gleaming laurels. Three crowned clowns, one for each of the witches that proclaimed Cesar's impending doom over their boiling cauldron.
Game Rules & Info
- It is 100% FREE to participate!
- You may try for all three clownfish, but you may only win 1.
- Prizes are customs and will be certed as adults once completed.
- Prizes are NOT SEs, and will not pass traits. But you can buy laurels for any beta for a small fee from the item shop!
How to Play
- Green Laurels - roll three 6-sided dice, goal is 16 Won by Sinbari, pg. 12!
- Gold Laurels - roll three10-sided dice, goal is 23 Won by Twitchapher, pg. 6!
- Silver Laurels - roll three 20-sided dice, goal is 13 Won by Geniegirlly, pg. 7!
- If you roll a winning number, quote ArynLight so she can check your post and update this one.

There's just one small problem.
Giffany is the unholy spawn of GlaDOS and HAL in the form of a dating sim love interest. She may look and start out sweet and innocent, but she has a tendency of getting homocidially obsessive and possessive of the player. Might be the reason her game has been returned the video store twice already, complete with a note to BURN THE DISK for the love of God.
Giffany is from the Disney XD series Gravity Falls, more particularly the episode "Soos and the Real Girl." Under the spoiler above is episode's main "twist" but the most accurate description of Giffany (cut in case anyone wants to track the episode down and be surprised; links go to the Gravity Falls Wikia and also contain spoilers like WHOA if you read far enough).

- Jumping from the old lines to the new will be 1/2 off, 10k!
- Evolving a geek SE will be 1/4 off, 15k!
- These special discounts and slots are only available for geek SEs; you cannot use them for any other SE type.
- These special discounts and slots are only available for the duration of the Geek Event (March 15-April 4); prices will return to normal afterwards/at exactly 12:01 AM CST, Sunday April 5.
- Evolve Ticket Prizes from previous events CAN be in these slots.

How to Play:
- Watch for Meegs' (ShtrDrNGry) posts! She'll announce any winners, summoned accomplices, and new escapees!
- Match her dice numbers to win the escapee! Match her roll exactly to earn a free evolution for the current escapee!
EXAMPLE
MEEGS rolls 3 d6, results are 5-2-5 (forget the total, that's not our goal!).
YOU roll 3 d6!
- If you roll some combination of 5, 2, and 5, you win the baby feesh!
