FAIR /fɛː/ noun. (archaic: fayre) A gathering of people to parade, display or trade produce or other goods, often to enjoy associated carnival or funfair entertainment; A gathering of stalls and amusements for public entertainment. It is normally of the essence of a fair that it is temporary; some last only an afternoon while others may last as long as ten weeks. Fairs are often held in conjunction with a significant event, such as the anniversary of a local historical event, a seasonal event such as harvest time or with a holiday such as Christmas.
GUILDS /gɪld/ noun. Special forums created by Gaians that bring together people with shared interests.
The Guilds Fair was organized by Puyaters Anonymous™ in 2013 to generate activity as well as renewed interest in Gaian Guilds. It was set for June of 2013 but got held off until fall due to other events going on at the same time. It was run by The Dark Closet Rebellion and Love Renewed. It was set up in the GGN forum with events going on all over Gaia.
This year the Fair is being run by Love Renewed/PassionFIower. It is in the CB held mostly in this thread. Guilds are welcome to host large contests in their guilds though. All contest/game/giveaway information is a few posts down. ANYONE CAN ENTER CONTESTS, GAMES, RAFFLES, AND GIVEAWAYS.
Dates:
July 1st-31st: Guilds can sign up and people can talk. A lot of games, raffles, and contests are.
Come hang out! Have fun!
August 1st-31st: All games and contests will be open. HANG OUT AND HAVE MORE FUN!!

AATW is a DC Universe, semi-lit to literate role-play set after the Flashpoint Paradox. Void Earth's heroes have vanished one after another, but not before Batman unleashed the Legacy Initiative. Take up the mantle of your favorite DC Heroes with your own, original character or take up the role of a notorious villain of your own creation and fight for what you believe is right.
Coin Catchers
Captain: Awkward Anarchy
Coin Catchers is a Booty Grab Guild established on april 27th 2013. It started with a glow thread only, but now, a year later, it also offers some basic games like dice games and a monthly raffle with millions of gold to win. Now and then a random event will pop up, and members can set up their own games. Our 'Mystery Member Bump' system rewards people who bump glows frequently.
Coin Catchers' glow thread is always up to date, and therefore it's Gaia's most viewed/used glow thread.
There are no commitments in Coin Catchers, and all games and events are free. When listed in our main glow thread, all you have to do is keep your tank filled with high trigger fish....
Etiam Dominum (Yes Master)

Etiam Dominum is a master/slave and dom/sub role play guild. Other roles are welcome too, so long as everything follows the ToS. The main rp is in the club, but we have a world forum and a place for homes too. As well as a forum for 1x1 rps. We welcome our members to create new places too.
Gaia Guild Awards

The Gaia Guild Awards was set up to acknowledge the best of the best in the Gaia Guilds. These awards are also meant to help consumers see who is the best in their fields. Along with a certified GGA award, all winners of a GGA will receive a nominal donation to their guild for their fantastic efforts.

A Gaian job? This isn't a real-life job where you get paid real money - this is a job where you can do tasks on Gaia for other users [such as bumping, advertising, etc.] and get paid Gaian gold.

Hello all, those quoted are the guild owners who signed up guilds for the fair early. The Fair has started. Please let your guilds know about us and help advertise. I would appreciate it. If you haven't already given me a contest, game, or giveaway for your guild to host please do so right away. I also need to know if yours will be open for July and August or just one of the months. You can do one thing for July and another for August if you want.
