Once upon a time I was a silly nooblet who wanted Fairy Wings. I thought they were the best thing ever and I wanted them sooo bad. But back in late 2003, 40k was SOOOOO hard to come by. So I ended up finding my way right here, to the Charity/Quests Forum. I got my wings, and along the way I met quite a few great people. In the years since, I've tried to run quests and charities, but things always end up dying off. So here I am trying again. Maybe this one will last? biggrin

The concept of this charity should be clear by the name. I'll be giving out donations of 100k to people who meet my requirements. At first, it'll probably only be one donation per week, but depending on how things go I'd like to be able to help more each week biggrin

These are the requirements to be eligible for a donation from me!

Have a quest thread
Be questing for something worth more than 100k
Have a link to your quest thread in your signature
Post in this thread
Don't be a jerk!
Don't try to guilt trip anyone or throw a pity party for yourself
Don't use "I was hacked" as a reason you're looking for donations. Just file a hack report and in most cases you'll get back whatever you lost!

Grand Opening Contest
Door prizes!

Every post created between thread creation and October 12, 10pm CST will be eligible to win a 50k door price. I will be giving out 5 of these prizes. I'll be using a random number generator to select the 5 winners, first rolling the page number of our winner, and then the post number on that page. You may only win once, please do not try to use mules to circumvent this rule. To enter, all you have to do is post. The more you post, the more chances you have to win biggrin
