Hi! Welcome to Living Ads! So how is this useful? One way is to find a thread, guild, or journal that might interest you by looking through an interesting Index. Click the Indexes link below to find a place that offers a particular service or information of interest. Within each Index thread are categories to help you narrow your search for just the right thread (or guild or journal) to meet your needs!

LINKS TO INDEXES

A: Art Ads Index
[A2] AVATAR EDITS
[A3] BREEDABLE/CHANGING CREATURES
[A4] COMMISSIONED ART
[A5] ITEMS (Dolls, Gems, Scrolls)
[A6] PERSONALIZED GRAPHICS (banners, bumps, etc.)
[A7] PETS
[A8] PIXEL GRAPHICS
S: Services Ads Index

If you are looking for a particular listing by name, or wondering if your favorite is here, you can check the Text Links in the 10th post on this page. If you find banners or larger displays easier to browse, the same links are shown on page 2 of this thread. Once you find a link, you can click the [Index Codes] next to it to find other similar places. Happy Hunting!

A note about the codes: The letter stands for the Index Thread (A is for Art Ads, for instance) and the number is the post in that thread where you'll find that link and other similar ones. So [A4] will take you to the fourth post of the Art Ads Index where Commissioned Art shops are indexed.

Introductory Offer: The first month in which you are listed here is always just ONE GOLD.

If you plan to put your shop on Hold (close temporarily) for more than 2 weeks of a given month, you can temporarily convert your listing to a single line of small text and pay just 1g for that month.

If you do not pay by the 10th of the month, we will mark your shop Closed on Page 2 and remove all indexed listings. You may change your banner or listing at any time, paying only the difference in price if any. The full amount will need to be paid for that month even if your listing was removed for part of it. If you were unexpectedly offline for some real life reason, please talk to us and we'll work something out. I archive all closed threads to make it easy to put them back on the active list as appropriate.

TEXT PRICES: 1g - 30g per month

Text character and line limits include spaces. Each line must be the same size. Maximum 10 lines. You may use any color supported by Gaia. See post below for examples of colors.

Size 22 = 3g per line, 29 character limit
26 character limit if bold or italic characters are used.

Size 16 = 2g per line, 35 character limit, any characters.

Size 12 = 1g per line, 48 character limit, any characters. This is the standard size.

Size 10 = 1g total, 56 character limit.

BANNER PRICES: 3g - 50g per month (you won't want to use a banner less than 30 pixels high)

Banners may not be more than 400 pixels wide. Price is 1g per 10 pixels in height, rounded up at +5 pixels. Yes, this means a 200x100 banner and a 200x400 banner where both banners are 200 pixels tall both cost 20g. Banners may not be more than 500 pixels tall and may not exceed 100KB file size. Text may be added next to banners for a flat 5g fee so long as it doesn't extend beyond the height of the banner or extend the entire listing more than 400 pixels wide.

Payment is expected on the first of the month for that month. For convenience it would help if you would let me add you to my friendslist so I can easily remind you of your bill for the next month. You may pay as many months at a time for convenience as you like but I still need a response to my PM monthly. Please title the trade with how many months you are paying for. No refunds, sorry. Tips are of course always welcome!

If you plan to put your shop on Hold (close temporarily) for more than 2 weeks of a given month, you can temporarily convert your listing to a single line of small text and pay just 1g for that month.

If you have not paid (or responded if already paid) by the 10th of the month, I will mark your shop Closed and remove all indexed listings. If I have removed your listings and you pay your bill late, you may have to fill out the form again so I can put the indexed listings back. The full amount will need to be paid for that month even if your listing was removed for part of it. If you were unexpectedly offline for some real life reason, please talk to me and we'll work something out. This is how I hope to maintain a list of all Living Ads so we never find a dead thread when clicking on an ad.
