~Updated 20th May 2024~Hey, I'm Zeiphyx/Zeiphex! I'm an neurodivergent amateur herpetologist, photographer, web developer, graphic designer, and wannabe Tolkien scholar.
Hobbies: Herping (when you go out to look for herpetofauna = reptiles and amphibians. We find things, photograph them, and release them again), Photography, Writing (I write LOTR and Supernatural fanfiction, and I'm also working on my own romance novel), Gaming, Playing Guitar and Ukelele, Obsessively researching my hyperfixations
Favourite Music Genres: I'm very into music in general. I'm an elder emo at heart, so I listen to a lot of punk and pop punk. I'm super into folk and EDM as well, and you'll be hard-pressed to play any 80s classics that I won't sing along to. I adore movie and game soundtracks too. I don't like most rap, R&B, and hip hop, though I do like it in Kpop.
Favourite Bands/Composers: Green Day will always be my one true love. Lately I've been listening to a lot of American Authors, Hozier, Falling in Reverse, Sub-Radio, and Citizen Soldier, but I usually just have my music streaming on random. I love finding new bands to love that way
Favourite Movies: Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship of the Rings is my favourite), The Hobbit (It was a travesty as a book adaptation, but I still enjoyed it)
Favourite Anime: I feel like Naruto will always be it for me, since it was my first anime in 2006. Lately though, I've loved Delicious in Dungeon/Dungeon Meishii, Given, Made in Abyss, One Punch Man, My Hero Academia, and Jujitsu Kaisen
Favourite Series: Supernatural, The Witcher, Rings of Power, Heartbreak High, Sex Education
Favourite Games: Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome was my first love. Current favourite games are The Witcher trilogy, Genshin Impact (AR60, EU Server - DM me if you want to add me), Life is Strange
Pets: Two ponies, a cat, a pair of crested geckos, 4 African Clawed Frogs, and a corn snake
Other: I'm pretty easy to get along with for the most part. I care strongly about justice and about conservation, and I love engaging with people on mutually interesting topics - often the deeper, the better!

South Africa is a lot different than what I assumed it was like. xD Thought it grunge-y and just icky, but it really doesn't seem like a bad place to live in at all! The water thing is interesting, is your water fluoridated over there?
Have you lived in S.A (I guess that would be the abbreviation for it?) all your life? Is there a lot of crime or anything in your city?
All the nature that's there is nice, but is often crowded? One thing I can't stand is people, my dream home would be somewhere with a lot of land so I don't have to deal with many people.
I live in southern Indiana. =D It's a nice place, with mild winters (rarely below 10 F where I'm at) and not so bad. I'm -right- next to Louisville, Kentucky, which is like Kentucky's largest city, so I get to live a modest sized town but am able to go over to the big city if I need things this city doesn't offer. It's literally just a 10 minute drive across the bridge. ^^
What sort of animals do you have there? That's the greatest thing about places overseas...so many interesting critters! What kind of wild birds are over there? What about caged, pet birds? I think other countries have -way- better variety in cage birds than the US does (I think SA probably allows wild-caughts, do they not? If so, lots of variety there).
If you've never been to the US before, I will happily tell you about all our fauna here.
