Zamara is the descendant of the celestial goddess, Avari. This is on her mother's side, her father side was deamon. Blessed with long life she is a cat deamon who has wandered the earth, becoming more and more depressed with it. Shunned by a society that fears and reviles her kind she disguises herself as human.Once when she was discovered in a remote country and nearly killed. In the battle she received a heinous wound to her right eye. She escaped, barely. Fleeing she ran until infection and fever left her at Death's Gate. This is when she met Calypso-chan, who nursed her back to health. They have been close friends ever since.
After much travel they made themselves a home in Gaia. This is where they finally made more friends namely one talking raccoon, named Loki, who follows Zamara around pulling numerous pranks.
