Congratz on the job. It's always nice to have money. It comes in handy at times. Lol. Love brought me to Georgia. I ended up marrying a wonderful guy from Georgia at Easter time and moved to the warmer climate in July. It's quite a change, but it's fun. It's great to hear from you and I'm glad your life is going well. Are you still involved in music? Still playing instruments in a band?

Hey there! I haven't been in for quite a while. I finished Son of a Witch and A Lion Among Men. Reading 'Out of Oz' right now and loving it. Thanks for recommending the series. Best read in a long time.

Finished Wicked, finally. Absolutely loved it by the end. May have even shed a tear or two. I've started 'Son of a Witch' and am just as enthralled. Thanks for the recommend. How are you doing?

I am loving 'Wicked'. I will definitely get the second book. The Wishbone version of Moby d**k doesn't count as a classic, sorry to tell you.
Yes, I read the first book of the Hunger Games and loved it. Tried to read the second one and got about a third of the way into it and lost interest. Just wasn't nearly as captivating. I'll definitely see the movie thought. It looks like it's going to be good.
Hope life is treating you well and that you haven't been getting any of those tornadoes I've been hearing about on the news.

I know what you mean about being in a 'reading' mood. If I'm in the mood, I can read a book in a few days. If I'm not, it can take half a year.
And I know I'll finish 'Wicked' one of these day. If I could do 'Moby d**k', then I can definitely conquer a book that is much more interesting.
Fingers crossed for the pool pro in your future. Lol.

Still not finished Wicked, but I've read two books in between. And Glinda is getting better.

I'm not quite half way through the book yet, I'm a slow reader. But loving it. I do not like that Galinda. She's horrid.

I think I'm enjoying the book. It's really well written. I can appreciate that. But, it's not pleasant, and slightly disturbing. I wasn't expecting that. I thought it was going to be more 'fairytale-ish'. I'm definitely going to finish it, though, and then I'll decide about the second and third books. I'm not really sure how it would translate into a stage play. Might be worth a watch.
