About Tethys:
My name is Tethys .
I’m named after a goddess of water, of the sea.
She was the daughter of Gaia (the earth) and Uranus (the sky).
Her husband was Oceanus and she was mother to many rivergods.

Tethys is not the same goddess as Tethis. Those goddesses are two whole different ones.
Tethys is not a madeup goddess either. She comes from already existing mythology. And yes, her mother was Gaia.
