advanced is the best score. it goes (from best to worst) advanced, proficient, basic, below basic, and far below basic. i'm pretty sure, anyway.

heck no. i haven't even started the powerpoint. (or research paper...) I'm such a slacker. there is no way that i could go early. i plan on starting typing the research paper today.

happy cinco de mayo. emotion_zzz

THANK YOU. the movie irked me! it was intended to be humorous, but came off as offensive. a lot of people were laughing obnoxiously and i was like "...NO." talk2hand

flbarguhadakdoleihdi... there are people seriously trying to get law and order back for next year, and mr. p is apparenly trying to work out some solution. i hope i'm not going to have to go through a hassle to change my classes again...

lol, when i was first reading what you said about the math i was wondering if you meant proficient, and then i realized the comment above it. last year i was TWO ******** POINTS away from making proficient. i think it was the worst that i ever did. (wait...it might have been the year before last.... not sure.) i also really want to know how i was graded on the essay that we did earlier this year.

ugh. have to do the kohmeier written project part for monday. i'm number 20 for the powerpoint. (originally i got 3, but a girl switched with me. emotion_yatta )

the star today was easier than i thought it would be. i can't wait to get the scores back in the summer. emotion_awesome i feel like the nerdiest nerd that's ever lived for saying that.
yeah, the more i think about it, the more that I'm glad that i dropped anatomy.
i think that i'm officially well, but if not, i'll take what you've said into account.
that's pretty amazing. i should have went to filmstock. i haven't actually ever gone to anything at santa su outside of school hours, cause' i'm lazy as ********. emotion_zzz
the "mockumentary" we watched in mr. kohlmeier's.....i just don't even know anymore...

******** that math EAP. i knew MAYBE 2. it was math from hell. the english, though, was easier than the rest of the english star, which was pretty easy to begin with.
did you get the english passage about that guy who was trying to convince his wife that they should get a dog? it must have been written by a complete lunatic.

decided to drop honors anatomy. i feel relaxed now.

but now i'm feeling fine. ugh. i can't go to a doctor if i'm feeling fine. xp it had better not freaking come back.

CP stats, AP english, honors anatomy, basic design, applied legal studies, and constitutional law/international trade. yeah. it's bullshit. either i'll drop anatomy or stats.
weird, but i'm now feeling better? it's a weird on-again-off-again cold. mad
there's a santa su memebase? http://www.hsmemes.com/locale/17610/Santa-Susana-High-School/1

i'm almost certain that reinstein doesn't teach stats. i'm pretty sure that if i take it, then i'll have mr. ramstedt, which is cool. i do realize thought that i don't like the academics that i'm taking. i don't think i'll be able to handle it. i think i'm going to talk to my counselor and try to fix this...

SHIIIIIIT. i think that i am getting sick again. cat_gonk

my parents got a freaking ipad. it's stupid and totally unnecessary. such a waste of money i don't think should be spent. whatever.

did you know that there are santa su specific memes? i've read some 60 pages of them. xp

again, you honestly missed nothing. i think that there were only, like, 3 trucks anyhow. xp
yeah, i would guess that smaller pets are cheaper. i bet there are tons of people who decide to get an awesome, massive dog, but then find that they have to spend a crap load on dog food.
i just thought that the CHSPE is really only relative if you're planning on staying in california. that's probably why i wouldn't bother with it. if i wanted to go out of state for whatever reason, it probably wouldn't be accepted when applying to things. but then again, i'm not really the CHSPE expert.
the gatsby essay, you mean? i got mine back early, probably because i asked him about it and that made him give it some priority. anyway, i got 100% on it, so that was happy. biggrin he liked my "tone and style" only, he said that my conclusion should have been longer, which may have been true, but my essay was already, like, 4 pages long, so i didn't really want to make it that much longer.
********. my law and order class didn't have enough people sign up, so it was dropped. ms. davis said they waive it so that i can still graduate under the law academy, because it wasn't my fault, but that left me with an open space in my schedule. after much debate, i was coerced into taking CP stats. ********. gonk

yup. a food truck festival. personally, i thought that it was kind of lame, but whatever.
there were, like, 9 hula hoops and they weren't just supposed to be lying on the ground. there was supposed to be at least one volunteer enticing children in and showing them how to hula. idk. it was dumb.
it's not really bad, so i'm not going to bother with the aloe vera. i don't think i even have any right now anyways. i have to be really careful though, because i don't want to get skin cancer. there are a whole bunch of people in my family who have gotten it. gonk
may the cat wars begin. cool
are chameleons cold blooded? wouldn't they need special heat lamps or anything? i don't really know much about chameleons...
just a brief sickness. 2 days of school missed. it wasn't that bad, but i really hope that it doesn't come back. i feel totally fine now.
the test you are taking to leave school next year is the CHSPE, right?

I know what you mean, the same had to be done for Princess. It really sucks like nothing else.
Saturday I did this volunteer thing for the Simi Food Truck Festival, and it was total s**t. I had to be outside in the sun for FOUR HOURS, furing which I had been assigned to play ladderball (google it) and try to get kids there to play it also. also, the girls that were supposed to be hula hooping just...left, so i was expected to go help hula hoop as well. IN THE SUN. then, this INSANE lady comes along, and she asks for me and this girl to go help her pack up her booth, because she wasn't feeling well and wanted to leave early. so, me and this girl follow her to her booth, EXCEPT she couldn't remember which one it was, so it took a lot of wandering. then we had to help her pack everything onto this huge rack of clothing she as trying to sell. THEN she couldn't remember which freaking parking lot she had parked in. we tried to tell her it was likely the front one, but she was adamant that we first try to boy's and girl's club parking lot. (this was at the park by the library btw) SO, we push this huge rack ALLLLLLLL the way to that parking lot, but then the woman gets all distressed that her car isn't there. (at that point i saw mr. davis. cool ) then she made us go to the NEXT parking lot, which (surprise, surprise) wasn't the right one. on the way, the gatorade bottle in her purse wasn't capped right, so the whole thing leaked all over her bag and clothes and everything. by this point she wasn't telling us person things, like that she had some kind of kidney disease... after another long and unnecessary trek, we made it to the front parking lot where her car was. we had to help her pack everything up into her car, and she gave each us us a dollar. at first we tried to refuse because volunteers don't get paid, but we ended up accepting it, because what the heck. then she pointed the road and was all "is this the street?" the girl and i exchanged a look and were all "uh, it's the street, but we don't know if it's the street. the woman was annoyed, so she just kind of...drove off. i don't even know. the whole thing was nuts. the woman probably had heat stroke or something. i was too tired to realize at the time, but i don't think we should have let her drive... too late now.
OH! and i ended up getting sunburned.
on the way home i felt really crummy and now i'm sick. i missed school today and i might tomorrow.
******** THE WORLD!!! stressed
and that is my rant.
you know, a lot of people don't like hairless cats (but i know that hana does). i don't really mind them. to me, cats are cats, and i like them all. i like dogs, but i feel that cats are superior. i'm a total cat person. i'm going to end up as the crazy old cat lady that has 20+ cats. just you watch.
i guess alternative pets are cool and all, but i can imagine it would be a lot harder to take care of them and probably more expensive.

Meh. Btw, did you know that the book is a favorite of Mr. Dingman's? xp
yeah, some mom gives her child some kind of energy drink she created out of red bull and five hour energy, or something of the like. dumbasses...
quite a selection of pets, there. what inspired you about the chameleon bit?
i did note that you get your hair cut the other day. emotion_c8
oh god. sometimes i end up combining words/phrases accidentally. today in history i was just randomly thinking something and i first thought "death eaters" but then mid-thought i tried to change it to "dark lord" so it came out in my head as "death lord". and since cassidy was sitting right next to me, I have started to call her Death Lord Cassidy. It's really great. xd
also, last year in p.e., i tried to say "throwing a fit" but also changed it mid way to "being a b***h" so it came out as "throwing a b***h". i actually now use that phrase every once in a while. rofl

Maybe depressing isn't the right word. Maybe...barren? Idk. it gives off a very blech aura. depressing poe is good, depressing stephen king is great, but depressing steinbeck is miserable is a whole different way.
MY GAWD. those jellyfish. THOSE JELLYFISH. i would die happy if i had a comforter with those jellyfish on it. emotion_dowant
toddlers and tiaras is batshit ******** insane. pure, unfiltered child abuse. TLC must make a fortune off of that show, since people tend to like to watch crazy crap like that. i've seen a few episodes before.

Okay. o-kay. i was on youtube, and you know how you can end up watching the strangest videos by clicking on suggested things? well i came across videos about teens getting plastic surgeries.
AND I AM SO PISSED OFF.
you'll see 13 year-old freaking sobbing about getting bullied over their slightly large noses and s**t like that.
i'd argue that mass media is making younger and younger kids insecure about their bodies. what really sucks, though, is that parents let their children opt out of building character by letting them take shortcuts through taking drastic measures (plastic surgery) against problems that don't actually exist.
one boob is larger than the other? seriously? i can't believe anyone would actually give a flying ******** about something that trivial. boobs naturally aren't proportionate in what i believe is most women.
******** first world problems.

I REALLY don't care for the grapes of wrath. i guess the topic doesn't interest me and is fairly depressing. a big turn off is that we have to take notes on it. if it weren't for that, reading it would probably be much more enjoyable. plus, mr. kohlmeier has been really inconsistent. when we were reading the scarlet letter, we'd do it all in class and spend forever on a couple pages, but not we have to zoom through some 40-50 pages a night by ourselves. i can totally do it, but the change in pace just really threw me.
from the few times having used my sewing machine, i do remember it being really efficient. in fact, i recall just flooring the peddle and sewing away like a maniac. xd
i think the reason i don't use it more is because trying to figure out how to thread the thing and all the bobbin crap and so on was trying to my patience.
idk why my mom got me a sewing machine. i was like, 8. i remember unwrapping it at christmas and being all "what the ********?" knowing my mom though, i guess it's understandable. she has the most frocking annoying habit of buying people things that she wants for herself. it honestly pisses me off to no end. i guess i can't truly say i regret having one, i'll admit. its just that at the time i had expressed no interest in having one.

...i think that was also the year that my dad got me a basketball. confused

no, my sister left yesterday. that's why i was in such a rush to go somewhere, because i knew she couldn't stay monday. ah well...
lol, "potterize." xd this weekend es no bueno para yo. i have to clean my room super bad, plus i let all my homework pile up, especially reading the grapes of wrath for english. eesh...
OH GOD YES. now i crave avocados and hummus. emotion_drool why must you do this to me, willow? emotion_facepalm
i actually have my own sewing machine, but i'm not too familiar with it. i used to take a lot of sewing classes when i was little, but i think i've forgotten most everything. plus, that was hand-sewing stuff. i'd really love to learn how to do shirring and all that jazz. i think that those skirts were pretty cute.

UGH. in a funk right now. my mom woke me up way too early, then we decided AS A FAMILY (the four of us since my sister is home) that we wanted to go on a drive somewhere today, so i got myself self ready and did some last minute laundry, then i tried to get everyone to decide where and what we wanted to do. "tried" being the key word. my dad was on the computer while my mom was doing dishes and randi was just being randi. i couldn't get everyone in the same room. THEN! i went to take a shower because i couldn't go anywhere in that state anyway. it was a short shower, but when i got out my sister and dad somehow decided they were going rock climbing or hiking or something, and my mom wasn't even going at all. I was IMMENSELY frustrated, especially since nobody had even eaten anything for lunch (plus i didn't have breakfast because the rest of the family had decided to eat even earlier then when my mom woke me up). i REALLY wanted to convince my mom to come because we rarely do anything all together, and convince my sister and dad that we should reconsider what to do because my mom can't do strenuous activity and i didn't feel much up to it either, but they eventually just left regardless while my mom returned to the ever-present topic of me having not cleaned my room, essentially bitching at me.
i'm just really pissed off right now.

in the japan section of san francisco, they have this mall, which has a crepe store, which is where i first experienced the wonder that is nutella crepes. next time you go to san fran, try to find that place. reading your descriptions of food gave me, like...a food orgasm or something. emotion_drool one day i'm going to hire you as a personal chef. you could totally be one of those.
my mom used to mix bubbly water with orange juice all the time. hmm. i haven't seen her do that in a long time. that's good s**t, though. i should try that with other juices.
EWW. dried banana chips are DISGUSTING. *wearing expression of utter horror.* we have a bag of those in the pantry right now that's been there as long as i can remember because nobody wants to eat them. i already generally don't like bananas unless they are in banana nut muffins or something. dried prunes are also pretty gross.
s**t. now i really want banana nut muffins.
have you ever made peanut brittle before? when i took foods and nutrition at simi, we made peanut brittle once, and it was really good. i remember that the recipe was really simple. you should make some. i also remember i made pumpkin bread. i actually almost choked on it because i was trying to cram it down my throat. before then i had never had it before, so i hadn't expected it to be so freaking delicious.
and funnel cake.
and nutella crepes.
and strawberry shortcakes.
and homemade bread.
and holy s**t i'm remembering every delicious thing i've ever encountered. gonk
