Yeah, I know what you mean. I really do consider the men and women over there to be heros. Even if other people don't see it like that, well that's their fault. They don't know what it's like over there. I have a friend like that and she drives me insane.
Yeah, me too. People say there's a such thing as too patriotic, but there's really no such thing. If you love the country you live in, and want to defend it, then there's no point in denying it.
Great Grandpa was Navy, uncles were Marines, army, and air force, mom was Navy, Cousins are Navy and Army, grandpa was Navy. Yeah, it's heartbreaking. At least to me.
Cool. What I don't get though is why people call them crazy. The Seals, the soldiers, the rangers, everyone! Honestly, rarely do I meet somebody who goes " Yeah, those military guys, they really deserve the credit." It drives me insane!
But I wanted to fly the F-16's, but if you were flying any of the cargo planes, the Black Hawks or any helicopters, or transport planes, then you can still pilot. That's what they told me, anyways. Plus, the Black Hawks have some cooler jobs than the F-16's do.
I wanted to fly for a while, but they told me I'd be too tall. Plus, I already know a lot about medical supplies and procedures, so I decided to go in that direction instead.
