ok about me; i like photography, and taking things apart, and being me. well honestly some things about me suck, wont get into those things of course but generally it's all good.
more about me; i like words. i like using alternative words to the plain ones you find in every-day grammar, or maybe it's just i like proper grammar and the words i use aren't spectacular, people just don't use them like they used to. words that is. words.
i also like trying to figure how words came to be. like car: did you know the word car does infact come from carrige and they used to call carriges car's for short, so no huge leap of human mentality in thinking up a new name for that one.
i do like art, i can't go anywhere without pencil, paper, eraser and craft knife, even though i hardly ever use them when i'm walking around town, it's just a comfort thing. i'm also just getting into colour, watercolour that is, and i like more than i expected, i just today bought a tiny canvas to..i dunno paint on. not with watercolour of course, that would just be asking for it (yes It).
i like rock music. rock is music. all of it, everything from the beatles to marilyn manson, although while i will know johnny cash is a legend, i don't like his music; and i admire kurt cobain but i know if he was still alive nobody would love him as they do.
i don't really care how pretty this looks so i'll just leave it at that.
by the by, my favourite movie is fight club, and not for the sex and wild acts of violence, it's a...thing. thing. you had to be there.
'spose i should mention the basics while i'm at it.
i'm 19, i've recently returned to nz from melbourne, i work as a waitress and occasional barwench downtown, my hair used ot be straight but now - thanks to layering - it's wild, long and bright red & blue-black, i have two tattoos: a dragon crawling down my spine, and one on my ankle; both obtained when i was 16 (kudos lady jane). i'm slowly thinking of another but i haven't quite got there. it'll come.
oh and i'm short, about 5'2.
my car is (sadly) a nissan sentra named eliot, yep the poet, and my dream car is an aston martin db9 or a kombi van, or both 'cause hell if i could afford an aston why not.
