i'm using a dualcore acer that's 3 years old. i dunno i might have spyware too that is slowing it down but it seems alot of those anti-spyware/virus huge programs never get everything out and it's always as slow as it was without them installed. i dunno i might download a free one i get from my provider. my main computer is an amd quadcore with a next gen video card but the power supply got zapped so until i can come up with 75-100ish for a new power supply it's useless
