I am intellectual and perceptive. I would have to say I am a strong-willed person; I am very determined when I fix my mind on a goal. Other than that I'm quite easy-going, friendly, even maternal to my students and the other faculty members at the University.

I have rather indecisive hair; it refuses to be content with either red or gold so stubbornly remains a peculiar mixture of the two. I keep it short to hide its ambiguous shame.
My eyes I inherited from my grandmother and I rather like them. They're a nice greenish colour which reminds me of spring, and I always did love spring.
I have curves, yes curves, which I sheathe in clothing, yes clothing. Said clothing usually includes style and comfort, because I never did believe in suffering for beauty.

I grew up in the City, that is City with a capital letter - Antian girl. When I was ten years old my parents sent me to live with my grandparents on a lovely little dimension called Altheia, where I lived with them in their lakeside home for nigh on five years. At my coming of age my Nan and Poppa sent me back to Antia to begin my serious schooling, because I had revealed my desire to become a teacher or even a professor. Through dedication and hard work I became a professor at the prestigious University of Antia before the age of 25, and it was my good fortune to specialise in many subjects.

One of my fields of study was the mapping out of the 50,000 dimensions. This task has never been finished by anyone yet, but every year steady progress is made by the various institutes of education and research, and all new information is shared and absorbed into the MasterMap.

This is how I stumbled on the legend of Noctemia. A mysterious roving dimension which the MasterMap has never heard of and which never seems to stay in one place long enough to be tracked? An island only heard of in myth and very obscure folktales, fairytales and childrens' fables? It pricked my attention as soon as I heard of it, and through the years I've become more and more involved in the search to find it.

As the years passed and not one attempt to reach or even lock onto the island was successful, an idea took shape in my mind; this island didn't want to be found. It shouldn't be found. I began to secretly 'aquire' and destroy all records on the MasterMap, such as they were, of the island's existence. My resolution: I would keep the island secret, but I, Professor Venus Dionaea, would find it and make it my home.
