Hey I'm Bexa Jaide, also known as Rebecca Fernandes, a young woman from Palmerston. That's a small, useless, boring city in the Northern Territory where there's nothing to do and so many idiots you can't walk out the door without bumping into something stupid. To avoid going braindead like the rest of the population I spend a lot of my time on the computer, talking to my intelligent friends from places other than this shithole, reading and writing gothic romance and fantasy stories, and doing schoolwork. To avoid getting too intelligent and isolating myself from my peers, a la Daria, I spend my weekends drinking obscene amounts of alcohol and clubbing with some of the few people I've met here that I can stand to be around.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism, which I suppose explains why I don't like society much. For the most part I've learned to work around my disability, though there are some things I can't do. Also, occassionally it'll get the better of me and I'll go a little bit crazy. But it's been ages since there were any fatalities!
I do enjoy meeting new people, as long as they aren't idiots of any variety, so if you think you measure up then come talk to me. I'm not as bitchy as I sound.
