Time to dust off the cobwebs, I think.
Wow it's been a long time since I've done this... years probably. I'm not too good at keeping track of time.
So, where to begin... okay, here we go.
Hi, I'm Matt. I'm a genuine, Australian, with all the bells and whistles and odd accents and everything. I'm 21 years old... practically ANCIENT, I know! I bleed ash, and everything!
I'm a rather fussy person normally, I'm somewhat picky about what I eat, though what I do eat, I'll eat a lot of. I'm the kind of person that will build a routine and then have one hell of a time changing it, or trying to get out of it if I need too (Specially when it comes to sleep...).
I'm really weird when it comes to my tastes in music. Mostly because I'm a big fan of the oldies, you know, stuff from like the 60's and 70's, but at the same time, I'll gladly rock out to something heavy. Though I do have a distaste for Rap and R'n'B stuff... it's just never really done it for me. If I have to pick a pattern though, I have to say that if I find it unique... unique in a pleasing way, not a kind of... 'Oh my god... that sound's so retarded, I've never heard anything like it before!' stuff. Oh, if I hear them, I WILL sing to Queen songs. Specifically Bohemian Rhapsody... in public... very loudly. I'm not proud of my singing prowess, it's like nails on a chalk board, but DAMN that's a fun song to sing.
I like to laugh, and try not to take things seriously whenever I can. I'd rather make an arse of myself and have a nice laugh, than be all serious all the time about everything... though I have been known to be a serious grump with no sense of humour when my mood decides to take a dive.
When it comes to movies and the like, I'm all for the awesome action movies, and I'm not really a fan of Horror... probably because I'm a total WUSS when it comes to scary movies. Comedy movies I also have a thing for, though for some reason, whenever I have a good, funny movie sitting in front of me, I'll never actually pick it up and watch it... I'm weird that way.
I'm not that good at drawing... scratch that, a toddler with a crayon could probably draw better than me. On the other hand, I've been told that my skill at writing brings forth revelations, heals the blind and may have once caused an immaculate conception. I'm a little skeptical about the last one, but hey, who am I to question my radiant awesomeness?
Religion... lets see... I'm not a very religious person. I do think it's a joke, and a constant source of strife for mankind, something that'd probably be best forgotten. On the other hand, I won't disregard someone's beliefs or treat someone's religious beliefs with contempt or disdain... UNLESS they get all in my face about it and do the crazy zealot thing... then I get grumpy... this heathen does not want to become one of the faithful, tyvm.
I'm an avid gamer. I'm proud of that. I feel more comfortable with a controller in my hands, than I do with wearing underpants. I am, though, a strict Console Gamer. If you put a keyboard and mouse in front of me, I'll likely get my arse whooped by anyone. My taste for games spans a wide variety of genres, from FPS, to Racing games (Though only a certain few... Racing Games get boring VERY quickly.), but my all time favourite will always be the RPG. My gaming career started with FFVII, and it's been a long lasting love affair with the genre, and that series in particular since.
