I Generally dont, but I thought so too (which is why I asked her how she found the thread, and I checked out the blank profile), but I DO know her 'sister', and if she really is her proclaimed 'sister' then it'd make sense that if she needed gold she'd send her here. So, that's enough reason for me to donate, I'd rather do it and think I did good then not and possibly not have donated to someone who needed it.
