About Me
I'm not exactly an ordinary person, so I can't say that I'm your typical person who just happened to discover this site. I'm not exactly off the wall, either. Some people might say I am, but they obviously do not know me well. At all.So, now that we've got that sorted out, I like a multitude of things. Sports are a big one: soccer, rock climbing, hiking, running, swimming, rock climbing (well...climbing anything, really), biking, surfing, and tennis. I love to be outside, but not especially in a city. I would much rather walk on grass - that's natural, mind - than a sidewalk or street. I would also much rather go barefoot than wear shoes or socks of any kind. I hate cities. End of story.
Unfortunately, I live in a decent sized city, and therefore don't usually have the opportunity to do things outside. So, I've had to find things I enjoy doing inside. Music dominates the list; I listen to music practically everywhere, anytime. Second to that is reading. I have bookshelves everywhere, and they are overflowing. I also like writing, drawing, watching movies, and researching. Yes, researching. I'm obsessed with the medieval times; medieval weaponry, especially swords;King Arthur, Merlin and the Knights of the Round Table; Atlantis; ancient Egypt, China, Japan, and Africa; Greece and Rome; the Inca, Maya and Aztec civilizations and mythical creatures of any sort. If you haven't guessed, my favorite subject of all time is history. The last thing I enjoy doing indoors is, obviously, pretty much anything on the computer and internet.
You know what I do, if you bothered to read that, but not much about me as a person. As I've said, I adore history. I love to travel. I have a short temper, but rarely use it on those I call friends. I have complete trust in a total of three people. I love my cats. My favorite music has been called 'depressing' a multitude of times, but I could care less. I listen to it all the same. That still doesn't tell you much about me as a person, but if you have any sort of intuition at all, you'll be able to figure something else out.
