About
Triess-chan is what happens when the cute little magical girl guardian doesn't find their charge until it's too late. (I.E. They've become a teenager.)
True, while some teenage magical girls retain the unrestrained bubbly naivety and ability to squeal of childhood, there are those who are simply too far gone. Like our subject, Triess. Phee-chan, her little magic guardian, however, being as ridiculously optimistic as most of the magical girls out there, would not give up on the chosen girl. Thus, Triess was destined to save the world (more than once), but instead uses her powers to punish the stupid and annoying. Like Phee-chan, who often gets smacked upon the noggin by Triess's magic-staff-gone-evil. Also, she uses the fact that she has magic powers as a justification to make people give her free pizza.
However, there were some parts of the magical girl existence Triess couldn't escape. Indeed, she did have to add “chan” to the end of her name. She is constantly referred to as cute, monsters and people attack her randomly, princesses ask her to save their sissy alternate dimensions, she constantly gets bishoneny suitors and the “popular” guys in her school after her, whom she has no interest in, and, the real b***h of it all is, she still has to wear the uniform. You know the one. Short pleated skirt. Big frickin' bow on the front. Shoes with wings. Luckily, she was able to do a few... modifications.
Triess-chan is cynical, sarcastic, and bad-tempered. And who wouldn't be?
She wanted to be a reclusive comic book artist who only communicated with people through email and mysterious phone conversations, and the occasional online forum (*cough*). But nooooo.
