Actually, if the name contains any special characters that name is taken. Say, I wanted to change my name to [ Daisy ] but there was a user with the name Daisy already. I cannot take that username anymore because it would come up as an error saying "that name is too formiluar to someone elses name". This is a RECENT change to Gaia so nowadays it is a waste of a name. Just saying. I hate people going about giving out wrong information.
