No, it is a restaurant. It started in a gas station by two guys who were working at the gas station, but decided to give food a try. They hooked up grills and started making burgers. People could literally drive into the gas station and get food. It was such a hit, that it took off and they named it Quaker Steak (after Quaker State Oil co.) and Lube (car themed restaurant chain). It isn't worldwide, but it is scattered across the U.S. in a few states and cities within those states.
I work at Quaker Steak & Lube in Vermilion, OH. biggrin If you have never heard of one, look its history up--started in 1974. It isn't worldwide, but it is in a few states/cities in the U.S.
