Yah, that would be interesting if they could though... Maybe it'd just be creepy... a talking Time Vortex... I don't know...

Anyhow, yes, TARDIS does stand for Time and Relative Demensions in Space.

Hiya! Spiffy avatar!

I knew that you could tell which "way" [through time] the TARDIS was moving by the color of the vortex, but I never did relate it to the Doppler effect, but I do agree to that!

Here's some trivia for you (you'll probably know it, seeing that you noticed the color thing with the vortex): Do you know what TARDIS stands for? It's a pretty neat acronym!
