About
Welcome to one of my little corners spread about the various 'nets.
Golden Sun profile theme designed by me with the tools at GaiaCentral.com
I am, when you get right down to it, a computer geek. There. I've said it.
I used Windows (XP), but mostly Ubuntu (Jaunty/Karmic). I've dabbled a little in Debian, but didn't really get on well with it, I've meandered around in Damn Small Linux, and decided it's a bit limited, and I've looked up Fedora, and decided I hate any Linux that uses RPM for packages. DEB packages only here.
I am not a Linux evangelist, however. I might suggest that it's a useful alternative, but I don't set out to convert people.
I am, on the other hand, always open to new ideas and trying new things on my linux. Of course, since my primary testing ground of a certain ancient laptop has finally died, I'm a little more cautious, but I'll still try things.
Computer stuff aside - I've been accused of being childish, explained by the fact I'm one of life's eternal children.
I've also been accused of being nastilly realistic sometimes too, but then if you can see real life, why are you in the real world?
Finally, I sometimes have creative diversions, into making (bad) artwork, and (unpublishable) stories. Neither really turn out very well, but I still do it from time to time anyway.
That's about it. Any questions... well, I will answer any question anyone PM's me with. I'll tell the truth - up to a point. Even I need a few secrets.
Like where I'm really from.
