About
Hi there. Didn't see you come in.I come from New Zealand. It's very remote. VERY remote. And remote most definitely means boring in this case. I guess the most interesting thing about it is the NEW part. I'm not quite sure what happened to the original Zealand. I assume it self-combusted due to severe bordom. I'm a singer/songwriter. I'm in the process of making an album. Almost finished!!! Or is it? Who really knows? It's a long and painful process. I'm in second year at film school. I've made a few films and a great deal of them seem to directly or indirectly relate to being lonely. My friends see a trend growing but I swear it's coincidence!!! I promise they're clever and dealt with very seriously. Music is a significant part of my existence. I'm seriously considering submitting a rough outline of 'office chairnastics' to the olympic committee. I have become seriously addicted to this soon-to-evolve super-sport involving me flying through the university halls on office chairs. I advise beginners to NOT attempt the 'quad-swivle arched cradle-divinder'. As it requires a lot of practise. And a helmet. I've been playing piano since I was just a wee thing. Started playing guitar when I was 12. Didn't take lessons, just used my musical knowlege and dove straight into song writing. When I was 14 my family and I took a year trip round Europe. We were based on a on a barge on a french canal for about 3 months, so I used to take off on my bike (rented from a nearby bike stand) into the surrounding vinyards with my guitar on my back. This is where I discovered lots of little tricks and my own songwriting technique. After that it was all uphill really. I dumped my crappy old Fender when my parents bought me an Ovation for my 16th (the exact same model John Lennon used wink haha) Then I eventually dumped that when my parents recently (and stressed that it would be the last time) bought me the most beautiful guitar I've ever played. It's a really really nice Taylor. I don't own or play an electric. I guess that will be my next step. My biggest influence in the world is Ani Difranco. Peace and love. -Jayde
