"You were gone for so long, I thought you simply forgot about me!" Grell huffed, but nevertheless snuggling against the silver one. "We're both worked to DEATH...I barely get to see you anymore, especially now everyone's flown off to the four corners of the planes."

He leaned his head against his lover's chest, and sighed. "Please tell me you haven't been dallying with the corpses in my absence."

When the laughter bubbled up, Grell faked a hurt expression and placed a hand over his heart.

"Oh, you dare laugh at my heartfelt confessions?! I'm so hurt, so crestfallen! Why, how shall I ever recover from this blow?!" he lamented, feigning sobs. The sobs morphed into laughter, however, and soon, the younger reaper was shaking with laughter himself.

The mention of the gift again piqued his interest though, and he recomposed himself. "An intangible gift? Why, darling, do tell..."

Grell simply flipped his hair with a coquettish smile that, after a moment, softened.

"Your lady demands you company right now and nothing else. You are my joy, my fire, my heart~! This is enough for me! I care not for all those dresses and baubles you bring to me. I love them, oh yes, but I love you more~."

He leaned his head against the Undertaker, feeling content to just be.

"...you're serious?" Grell asked, jaw slightly agape at his companion's response. "No, really?"

"...well...wouldn't it be wonderful if your little gift stimulated the both of us rather than just me alone~?" he asked, fluttering his eyelashes. "And I'm only half joking, darling. Take that how you will."

"No. No forgiveness," Grell said with a completely straight face before a grin tugged the corners of his lips upwards.

"Of course, you silly man! What, did you think I was legitimately upset at you?" he asked, laughing lightly and and twirling his fingers into his lover's hair. "But if there was one thing, it'd be for the time you called me fourth-rate though. Hmph!"

The redhaired reaper tugged on the Undertaker's sleeve, preventing the other from leaving and drawing him closer. He then buried his face into the silver one's shoulder, mumbling, "Why didn't you come for me sooner? Romeo surely wouldn't leave Juliet on the balcony alone?"
