THE DENTIST!
So there was a circus. It was not a very well-kept circus. I mean, it was in a forest, it was all leafy and such. But it was still not very well-kept. Small tents were perched here and there without warning and the largest one seemed dwarfed by the conglomeration of others. Most of the tents were decorated with terribly tacky designs, all except one. It stood out with its strange and stark whiteness and has a large illegible sign tacked on it. It must belong to a doctor of some sort.
So may as well go in, right?
Inside, the room was the same bright blank color as the outside- but filled with all sorts of metallic devices and tools that one would hope to never imagine. There were all sorts of things, from shiny silver watches to two-foot long scalpels; from foil hats to electric drills. What was most prominent was the structure in the center, which was obviously a dentist's chair. Although not full sized and only about two feet high, it appeared to be a hat. Oh. Not a doctor. The dentist.
"Dentist?" a falsetto voice called from outside the tent. Shocking and sudden. And high-pitched. "The dentist is out, you see! He's not in! He's out! You can't be visiting the dentist in his office when he is plainly out of his office."
Just turn around.
There was a frighteningly strange man, with curly orange hair sticking straight out from his head in various directions like he was the morning sun. His eyes were wide and read 'Hello, where is the nearest asylum facility?' He had thick, stubby arms and legs to match, which were covered mainly in a long white coat and gloves just a shade bluer than mauve. He was beaming with perfect teeth. "This is the dentist's office!" he continued, falsetto on still. "But the dentist is out!" The man stepped past the doorway into the middle of the tent. "The dentist is in! What was your appointment for? A dentist? A dentist! I am the Dentist, so let me see your lamp."
This is very strange, for I do not remember this incident! Oh well! It is mostly true!
