Seven years without you. Everything's changed so much, and I wish you were here to see it all. Things would be different if you were still here, but I'd be fine with any changes to our lives as long as you had an active role in setting the course. I miss you so much John. I still blame myself for not calling you, wondering if I could have prevented this. I wish you would have reached out, you know we all would have been there for you. My brother recently stopped one of his best friends from committing suicide, and I wish more than anything I could have done the same for you. I love you so much John, save me a seat at your table on the other side.

Holy s**t has it really been four years?
Sometimes I wonder how much different things would have been if you were still around. Laura and Sebastian are still going strong, and honestly, they're the only ones I really hang out with anymore from our circle of friends. Mary had a baby lol.
I told my boyfriend about you today, and he said you sounded like a really funny guy and that he would have loved to meet you. I know plenty of people would have wanted the same opportunity.
I love you so much John, I wish you were here.
But hey, at least it didn't rain today <3

Happy birthday man. I can't believe you're 20. I can't even imagine all the crazy s**t you'd be getting yourself into. God I miss you a lot. I don't know why I keep coming back; I know you're never here. Part of me wants to think you can still see this though, and a bigger part of me wishes I could personally wish you a happy birthday. I'll be thinking of you, and remembering the good times.

Hey John,
I know you'll never read this; I don't expect anyone to. I just wanted to say how much I miss you. I still have that drawing of Ian you gave me. It's hanging on my wall. Unfortunately, it was on the ground for a while after you gave it to me, and my dog decided it was the best place to relieve himself. Also, my cat made a hole in my Pink Floyd shirt; I can't even tell you how mad I was at him for that. Everything that I have left of you is slowly getting destroyed. My external hard drive screwed up and I lost most, if not all of the pictures I have of you. Warner Music Group's crap made YouTube disable the audio on your memorial video. How ******** up is that? Someone keeps signing into your MySpace and it gives me false hope that you aren't really gone. Your birthday's coming up, isn't it? You're almost 20. Damn...
I had a dream about you a while ago. You still had your hair, and you were happier than I've ever seen you. It was weird, whenever I tried to touch you, there was some invisible barrier preventing me from physical contact. That was pretty devastating; realizing that it wasn't real and never will be.
I miss you John. I miss your laugh, your smile, that goofy sense of humor we all love. It's been about two and a half years and I still cry when I think about you. Hell, I'm tearing up right now.
Anyways, I wanted to apologize for all the things I never did. I told you I'd call you later that week, and instead received the most devastating call of my life. I can't stop blaming myself; I wish you were here. I love you. Can't wait to see you again, we have a ton to catch up on.
