Um I'm not really sure what to say about school in New Zealand. razz You'll be going to high school, I assume, so kids who are in high school (Year 11 - 13) are generally aged 15/16 to 18/19 (depending on their birthday). Year 11 students do a thing called NCEA Level 1 where they have to get a certain amount of credits to move onto level 2 NCEA in Year 12. then when they get to year 13 they do Level 3 NCEA which is when kids are working on their 'university entrance' credits which will let them go to uni the following year. High schools generally don't start until around 8.40am and they're always finished by 4pm.
Hmm, classes are set up differently depending on school, I think. I went to a really, really small high school (there were 7 people in my final year!) so I can't be much help on the set up front. razz In terms of school work though, I could help you out.
I think the Mormon afterlife is actually pretty cool. I like what they say about non-Mormons: Those who choose not to follow our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will receive a reward according to what they have done in this life, but they will not enjoy the glory of living in the presence of God. And even though they believe in Hell, people who have sinned have the opportunity to repent and avoid the eternal hell.
Anyway...
Yeah down here in NZ we're pretty much all about keeping our country clean and green, because that's the way other countries see us which is good for our tourism (fast becoming the most important industry down here!) What do you want to study?
