I'd like to do something with my life. I don't know what and I don't know when. All I know is she better have a pretty smile.
"Life is filled with a million different incidences. Most of which are insignificant and you forget them. But some of them you will remember." I'm gonna be an incident you remember. Maybe I'll smash an ice cream into your face and say "You remember me forever!"
Who knows maybe I'll be president. Leader of the free world. I can make a quote from every book of Shakespeare, and everyone will want to listen.
But you know me I can't complain. Besides if I get all tangled up,
I'll just Tango on.
I will promise my children that there will always be people trying to squeeze them into this little box of mediocrity, and if they ever want to give up and give in I will understand because fighting them is hard and it will often hurt, and giving up will probably make them more powerful and successful in this world than anything else.
But if they want to be happy then they have to hold onto their dreams, not stop reaching for the stars, keep their feet on the ground and their head in the clouds, never loose that smile and remember that nothing anybody tells them is the truth.
I will promise that if they take those words for what they are then they can do whatever they want with their lives, The only limits they have are their dreams.
That's what I will promise my kids.
