Tamislin and Flavee having fun in a forest. .. For a given measure of fun, anyway. Tam probably thinks it's at least somewhat funny since vampires aren't likely to drown due to a lack of oxygen.

Tamislin telling Erhard off for being a creepy little.. favourite curse word here. Dude has an Infected little sister and she likes to play with you before she eats your soul. Alright, alright, I'll admit the details are different, but the end result is that you die. Tamislin very much does not wish to die. Least of all by the hands of this pair. Tamislin being a bit of a d**k to Samuel Elias Carswell. The man isn't as bad as he first appears to be. He's just really, really manic and a touch worse. Once you get past that, though, he's definitely better folk than Erhard apparently is.

First rule of having a partner; keep them from getting fried needlessly. Xiomara is useful and it'd be bad form to have her get fried by the magic because she used the wrong combination when she's here at your request.

^ This is an unsanctioned story bit with Stabarella Stabbarae, intergalactic don(a) of the universe. Rules time and space and so with her twin brother Allera. All credit for her character goes to her. The inherent inability to draw her is completely mine.

I remember that Duke is typically awarded to someone very close to the king, usually but not necessarily implying they're in line for the throne, usually a brother who got replaced as heir after the king or queen had a kid.
afraid i don't know anything about Baronys! let me know if you come up with more though, i too am interested in your elven dudes. i dont usually dig elven characters but you make them all seem so interesting!

also, I'm really amused by the idea of Tadhg and Skathi knowing each other. that must have been some interesting tea parties!

Feel free to get a little rough with Skadi anytime btw, trolls are infamously hard to kill. I think the last BD she lost, she was set on fire, her skin turned to stone, then in the next match she'd shed it and came back sore but otherwise fine! cat_xd unless making an opponent surrender was just more IC in which case NEVERMINRD!

im surprised you remembered that detail about her grandmother, that was a really addition.
for future references, would you be interested at all in knowing that her "grandmother" is actually non-binary and prefers They/Them/Their? I only say grandmother to denote that the line is tracked by who gave birth to who, which isn't all that telling given that my trolls are hermaphrodites.
its a super obscure and random detail i know! feel free to totally forget it, im certainly not expecting anyone to just KNOW or even remember those things.
i only brought it up because you seemed at least a little interested in that sort of thing...

The detective blinks a couple of times. Whenever he studied in high school, he always studied with his friends or his future wife, which often spiraled into not really focusing on work at some point. He could understand to some extent of how a study group wouldn't be very productive, but... "Do you ask for help just from the tutors, then? They won't fool around like the other kids would."

"Do you have flash cards? They help with remembering information." If not, Tyrone could give him some extras that Hannah wasn't currently using back at home, but that would have to be on another day. He himself didn't know when this would be useful for Tamislin either, but knew that learning at least gave him a little bit of insight of the people around him and his surroundings. "The trick to understanding world history is to just learn the events one step at a time, like in the book. The more you think about everything as a whole, the more overwhelming it'll be."

He raises an eyebrow in Tamislin not mentioning chemistry, but doesn't press on that. Though, leaving this situation alone as a whole doesn't sit well for him, either. It kind of reminds him of his own kids stumped with work in high school... "Have you asked if there were any after school programs, or looked for a tutor?"

He didn't want to get into spilling his guts right then and there, knowing for a fact that he'd just completely undo the hospitality that Tamislin granted him, and something this heavy weighing on his mind shouldn't be a burden to a kld, anyways. Not very appropriate, and when it came to the well-being of those younger than him, Tyrone had nothing but their best interests in mind.

"I should probably do that soon." A cab probably would have been the better choice - Ebele and Harry were most likely busy with their jobs and had to plan for tomorrow, something he should definitely be doing right about now. Though, he still didn't feel right in leaving the kid if his guardian was still out this late, so...

"Chemistry and history, huh? What are you stuck on in those subjects?"

Mmmmm not exactly, it seems like a... a thing to affect the audience reading/watching whatever the story is... so basically like ... when a humble peasant's beautiful maiden fiance or whatever is kidnapped by some royal... I think that's the idea of it.

"Maybe....Though, if it made me go through all this trouble, I'm not sure I want to remember..." And the detective stares into his cup for a while, frowning at his own words and the slight defeated tone he held. Not a lot of things made him go into a deep melancholic state, and while it became more bearable to cope with a lot of terrible things, just one made him feel at a loss a few hours ago. He found himself lowering his teacup back onto the saucer and his arms folding across his chest. Appearing guarded brought some form of comfort to him.

"I'm really too old to be running away from things like this." It looked like the detective had no intention of sleeping, even if he really needed to at the moment and it would provide Tamislin at an advantage. "I should be able to handle this...Whatever it is...Properly. I manage to with everything else I do."
