Long ago it said that "Songs" carried and unusual power.
People believed that "Songs" were the hands of mother nature that enveloped the world and they continued to sing without a pause.
But now things have changed. In this world, everybody has forgotten how to sing.
As if they were ancient words that had been lost forever.

Hello there! Welcome to my Profile. It's nice to see one of you people actually reading and checking my weird looking profile. ~Sweatdrops~ But please look around, it may not be much but I hope it fills your satisfaction. ^ ^
Now for my introduction. The name's Shurelia, or you can call me Syureria at best. I may look like 16 but I'm actually 700. At first I do look a little bit like an adult but without my Linkage costume, my appearance is clearly just a little girl, People usually mistaken me as a Robot. I am actually the administrator of Platina and the leader of the Knights of Elemia. As my direct subordinate, which is Lyner, gave me the very best respects I have ever given. But as you can see I am no ordinary girl, I am the person who sings the "Songs" called Reyvateil. Though I am also no ordinary Reyvateil, I'm also one of the Reyvateil Origins. I'm always shy and clumsy behind the serious mask I wore. I got no sense of direction even in my own Tower!
But alas, let me explain a few more about the world I am in, the tower, the "Songs" and the Reyvateils.
All of this takes place in the world called Sol Ciel, which literally translates to "Sun Sky" in French but it can also be pronounced as "Shining Sky". This world consists of the living Tower of Ar tonelico and the Wings of Horus, a landmass connected to the tower to the lower portion of the Tower.
The Tower exists at the center of the world and is made from technology that was available prior to the world-destroying catastrophe known as the Grathnode Inferia. There is little land left after the two catastrophes of the past, so people have become increasingly dependent on Ar tonelico. The Tower functions much like a computer program, and is susceptible to viruses, which are emerging at an alarming rate to wreak havoc on both the upper and lower worlds.
Hymmnos is a language from the time before the two catastrophes that destroyed the world, and is used by Reyvateils to interface with the tower. It is represented in-game by unique glyphs. Though it used to be a universal language, its meaning has been lost through the ages and is now used only for Song Magic.
And that is all I'll explain for today. If it's quite alot I might add up a journal so it would be easy to explain.
