Word, though I admittedly grew up on classic country with my grandparents and Punk-ish music with my 'rents, I think I just find a lot of affinity with Hip-Hop and Electronic music. I listen to anything once but it's just a preferred sound I guess, both to hear and to make.

Sick, I can definitely get more behind that mode of thinking. Granted my tastes still gravitate me to the beeps and blinking lights of the Electro music I hear the kids like these days. The Celldweller or Lights kind though, not the stuff being made by this "Skrillex" they all speak of. All forgetting he was a 13-year-old boy in some t**t-y band that literally broke up because Paramore got first-stage at a concert like 6 years ago.

...Oh did I mention I'm old as hell and knew the boy before he became the manchild?

Like everything except maybe Panic at the Disco, if only because they kind of ripped off The Killers and a few other local bands of the Vegas "scene" and are not-so-secretly became an adjunct Christian Pop-Rock band. Not that I have a problem with Christian music, but you don't start your career as a "shock" band to eventually become the band that plays random Cornerstone festivals some years later. Meh, maybe I am just kind of an a*****e about bands supported by Pete Wentz though.
