We all hate hackers and scammers.
Hackers and scammers are everywhere. They enjoy stealing other's property that have been earned by others. In this way, they don't have to work for anything, which is completely unfair.
Here are some things to prevent being hacked. Be cautious of all of these, and ALWAYS FOLLOW THEM.
1) Never, and I mean never, give out your password or email address. THE GAIA ADMIN OR MODERATORS WILL NEVER ASK FOR IT. Never. I am serious. This is the top reason why most people get hacked.
2) If you receive a PM, trade, or comment from someone you don't know that is asking for a donation, DON'T DONATE. Even if they have starter clothes. Everyone has starter clothes, they could just dress like that to trick you. And it's rude anyway. DON'T BEG FOR DONATIONS.
3) Do NOT, and I'm serious, do NOT click on any links in a PM. There are many links that are used to steal your password. One click and you are doomed.
The hackers that use links wait until an unfortunate someone clicks on that link. Then they hack, and use the user to PM other people. It spreads. See how dangerous it is?
4) I know most of you are too young to buy things online, but do NOT buy anything, like gold, with real money. That's botting. And that's also stolen property you're buying!
